We are heading out at 11 for 2 of the Farmers Markets but not the big one around the Capital. She wanted to go at 7 but if you don’t tell me and not set an alarm you miss the opportunity. She wants some lamb chops for tomorrow, more rhubarb and a few other things.

Terry also mentioned we are heading Wednesday to test drive the new Rivian models at a stock holder event. Mike I’ll wave when we drive by Mendota on our way to Bloomington! We also will test drive a Subaru Solterra Limited Thursday as the appointment is made. Are we going electric? Probably/Maybe. I test drove the electric tank VW sells and the Cadillac Optiq which was a very nice surprise. Terry hated the VW but loved the Caddy which is not the old stuffy Cadillac vehicles of my lifetime

We today after FM #2 will stop at the LHS for Tamiya’s green bottle cap extra thin glue and at Michael’s for some flow aide for the air brush. The orders placed at Amazon are scheduled for next week Friday and I definitely need the flow aide as I am mixing brand paints for my base concrete color.i’ll be out maybe tomorrow! Can’t have that…

Enjoy the day
Neighbor across the street bought an MB S500 this week. This is his 3rd car since moving in 5 years ago. I'm guessing he's going to keep it until this one is out of warranty. His money, his business. I've only owned 5 cars in my life. I usually donate them right around 200k-250k when something major is needing to be replaced. I hate buying depreciating assets.

My bet is pizza. :D
I wouldn't bet against that in a heartbeat!;)
Well, we ended up at Cheddars Scratch Kitchen

She got the Chicken Pot Pie, I got the smokehouse burger with bacon (hold the maters and pickles)

Then she went to JC Penny while I was out mall walking to get my steps. She eventually found me on a bench by the fountain. Just like when I was a teen heading to the mall after school.

I asked what she bought for me.

"A shirt in a color you won't like..."

Then why'd you buy it?

It was only $5 on clearance.

What are you going to make out it? Because, you're right. I don't like that color. I don't wear browns. Except for khaki slacks and one blazer I have from when I was shooting weddings and needed something for casual networking events.

Her dig came back with: "What can I make? There's a LOT of fabric there (size 2xl tall)

I'm still seeing that machine language for a millisecond on two other websites controlled by Verticalscope. It has stopped here as the page refresh speed has improved

Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this on other forums you may visit.
What other forums do you visit?

I check out MRH, MTF, ARF and of course here. I have not seen what your describing.

It doesn't even last long enough to recognize individual characters, but having seen machine language many times it's unmistakable.

I've seen this on the Walther forum, RadioReference, MTF, The Gear Page, and here.

It's as though the page appears in machine language for a millisecond and then reverts to English nearly instantly. Even with glaucoma I can see this happening. Here, it appears that there is no lag in the page translation so it is not being seen here, at least by me and you.

Good afternoon Gents,

Her dig came back with: "What can I make? There's a LOT of fabric there (size 2xl tall)
OUCH!! And this woman claims that she loves you????

That's where I get my haircut too.

Did you do the MVP experience?

No, my #1 son has had the MVP treatment. Me, I don't really care for it, just cut my hair and cut me loose. I don't want any pampering.

On the topic of forums. I occasionally still get a message that I can't get in because of a security issue. If I wait a minute and try again I get in. Sometimes I get a blank screen and no response at all. At 1st I thought it was my internet, but other forums and FB and the Tube of You open right away. I haven't been "locked out" very long, but it still happens at time. At least once I get in I can move freely about. I'm also a member on a S10/S15 forum which always lets me in, but then shows the spinning wheel of death many times as you move from article to article.

Does it come with a Bidet function? You know, something to wipe out the Kling-ons?? 🤣:D🤣

Yesterday I bought two bags of navel oranges (total 10 oranges), a bag of Honeycrisp apples , two packages each of blueberries, blackberries, and red raspberries, a bag of sugar snap peas, five ears of sweet corn a loaf of French bread, some guacamole, and a six pack of those little angel food cakes for the strawberries. $69! Yeah, it was Sendik's (sort of an upscale store in my neck of the woods), but most of the stuff was on sale or marked down. Their produce is just better. The last bag of navel oranges I bought at Sam's, half of them were dried out. It wasn't a deal breaker for me, but not so many years ago it would have been. I don't know how some folks are doing it these days. It's just nuts!
Last week fresh peaches at my grocery store were $4.99 a pound and they were hard as baseballs.
White peaches were $3.99 a pound and were soft but firm. I bought two and got lucky as they both were very good.
Strawberries always "look good" but are always hard and tastless. I had to cover them in sugar for any flavor at all back when I used to buy em.

Good evening folks, hit 76 here today, but never got sunny. Supposed to get some rain tonight/tomorrow, but all bets are off. Started the day off with a Men's Prayer Breakfast at Church, then headed in to the gun store to work the rest of the day. They had a little Ruger Wrangler come out of a failed pawn and I picked the little beast up. Needs a serious scrubbing and some TLC but they are great little 22s, this one is the Bronze color and has a birdshead grip. Picked up my Missus after work and we went to Arby's then home. Getting to watch the Cardinals in their second game of a doubleheader, they won the first one. You guys have a good evening.

Posted an update to my layout thread, but wanted to comment here on the figure size in Nscale to HO.

First, I wanted to check my math, so I just typed in what gaming scale does HO relate to? HO is 1:87, and I know it's about 18mm or 20mm.

But the Gemini AI bot in my Chrome browser wanted to argue with me. It kept fishing out different manufacture data on different figures (toes to eyes vs toes to top of head).

I told Gemini it was wrong, and flipped back to Claude (which I pay for). Told it what Gemini was telling me, and I said it was smoking crack with it's answers.

Claude's response: Ha — Gemini having a bad math day is always entertaining.
Yes, my AI buddy is snarky

Anyway, here's the photo:

Figures on the right are Woodland Scenics N-Scale. Gray dude in the center is a MiniPrints of Ron from Ron's Trains n Things.

Figure on the left is an (Old glory??) American Civil War 15mm soldier. Might be closer to 18mm than 15. The grid is 1 inch square for reference.

This told me I was correct in the switch. Even with the miniprints figure, there's just no detail. And while I paint better than the "slap it on" method of the Woodland Scenics kit painters, You can't do much with that small of a canvas.

As long as I print my own figures, I'll have details a-plenty in HO scale to paint.
