If you start to come around...revive...and wander into the middle of a conversation like this one...just go back to sleep. And blame the drugs.
I'M blaming the drugs, and I'm actually here. I think.
Or maybe not.
😂
I was asleep just before I started that post. I had several chores to do this morning so I deserved a nap.
I don't have many things i brag about on this forum so if you are not interested, go to the next post.

I THINK the first LP I ever bought was this one...but it might have been the second (hey, I was ten): In which case almost everyone will applaud my foresight, as "Fragile" has held up brilliantly over the years:
I DID buy it for "Roundabout" too, but then found there was so much more to like.

What has probably not held up so well was the Osmonds LP I also bought right around the same time (can't find the LP cover yet, and they were all stolen during the burglaries two years ago anyway). But I was ten, remember.

All good, and I tip my hat to the oldest Osmond, Alan, who passed just a week or two ago. Although I can't remember the "why" now, I still remember the "when," and those guys, too, were a part of my youth. And I would DEARLY love to see one or both of my own, now lost, brothers again. That's actually one of the things to look forward to at the end of your own road, right? The reunions!

Like we need another topic while (whilst) discussing a dozen others, but I'll throw it out. Best Female singers and voices. (?)

For me the best ever (Paul McCartney would agree even now I think--he did then)...would be Karen Carpenter. A close second would be Marylin McCoo, and I will say hers is the most well "polished" big time fem-voice I've ever hear, Karen's notwithstanding.

Third for me would be a struggle. Lani Hall and all her brilliant works vs. Annie Lennox. A tossup for me, still undecided.
