Hey...things are looking up! I was trying to get into Ebay in order to buy a replacement set of F's for those stolen two years ago...found a four unit set of WP units on ebay (but couldn't log in)...and while waiting I just found and ordered--hopefully successfully--four others all in Rio Grande paint. Which was the whole point in the first place. But now I don't have to replace the stolen compressor and airbrushes quite so fast to see the whole trainset done and done.

As Forrest Gump might say: "It's one less thang."

Every once in a great while life throws you a bone. And as Yogi Berra once said: "If you come to a fork in the road...take it!"

A really nice day here today.. Got up to 79, sunny and low humidity. Dentist appointment first thing, good report from that. Then ran over to the Train Store in Bald Knob, made an offer he didn't accept, but wound up with a new building and some N scale cars. Found some new paint markers at HL on clearance. My Missus is a little better from her Diverticulitis and our Niece and G'niece stopped by as Mollie [5 years old] had picked some daisies for my wife. About got the Battletech Project wrapped up, so on to getting work underway on my TTrak module. Did get some time out on the porch today with getting some airdry clay onto the layout for some terrain work around some tunnel entrances. Now if the Cardinals can hold on and win against Milwaukee!

FWIW, I've already passed this one on. The Rod Serling bit.

Ok, I'm gonna steal this from the Zephyr thread and repost it here. Just for fun and grins. But so far, I don't think anyone has yet tumbled to it. We'll see how it goes.

AAAaanddd, you can hardly login or even browse Youtube these days without coming across this gal:

She has probably done more in the last few months to promote the works of Earth Wind and Fire and "September" just by dancing. Which is all good.

Maurice White (RIP) would applaud her, and I do too.

Everytime I listen to my oldies, I remember how we got the words wrong all those years.

EJ - Rocket Man something something something hair along (burning up his fuse up here alone.)

ELO - don't bring me down, Bruce (groos - whatever that is) Yeah, my friend Bruce got that from me when he gave me bad news.

Hot Chocolate - I believe in Malcolm (miracles) Another friend I used to burn.

Lou Christie - lychee lychee again (lightning striking again). Lychee a popular fruit in Hawaii. We used to help ourselves to a tree in someones yard on our way back home from school, walking up hill, through waist deep snow, in a hurricane, of course.

And of course, Jimmy Hendrix' Purple Haze":
" 'Scuze me while I kiss the sky"...

Good morning gang!

55° under partly clear skies, looking for a high today of 80°.
Oh goodness, Cinco de Mayo and taco Tuesday all in one day. I’m guessing the lines at Taco Bell will be long come lunchtime.
Murdered lyrics, my favorite was always CCR‘s bad moon rising. Don’t go out tonight for it’s bound to take your life, there’s the bathroom on the right!
Laser gang!

How about Manfred Man Blinded by the light.

For years I thought it was "wrapped up like a douche"

When really it was" Revved up like a deuce"

Thanks to YT lyric videos I have found lots of songs I got wrong in my earlier years.
