Haha, yeah. I was as well. We had the largest marching band in the state back then. Then 2 years marching at University of Hawaii. That was a lot of fun. Sousaphone - we did a lot of extra show stuff since we were so visible.
I marched for one in year in college after marching in high school. I marched one year at BYU. It happened to be the year they were national Champions so it was pretty fun. I played trumpet. Back then they didn’t use Sousaphones. They used marching Tubas. Up on the shoulder horizontal. It was very showing.

Good times.

Good morning! It's 59°F in Tipton and mostly cloudy. ☁️

Good afternoon all. A large coffee on the go, please Flo.
I managed twice to go up the stairs and not use the elevator. Painful at the end, but on the road to recovery, slowly.

No graduation for me. Shook the Headmaster's hand and ran home.
Did manage to attend Branch College of Commerce in Leeds.
St Aidan's College, University of Durham
Queen's College, Oxford University

My daughter and Dawn both attended City of Sunderland College together and graduated as Lecturer's. 110 students attended that day.

Good morning from another nice Wisconsin day.

Heading about 1 hour north for a layout work session. My ride will be here in 45 minutes and the driver when he says 45 minutes he doesn’t mean 44 or 46. He is the most on time person I have ever met. Former 25 year Air Force MP and then 25 years in the VA and a great guy. Models in N but operates and helps build layouts in any scale.

This will be my last session, work or operations this month and for most of June. The travels start next week. We head out on the 14th but returning is open with no medical appointments until July.

I can’t believe how small your graduating classes were.

Enjoy the day

Well, howdy there internet peeps, and those who walked to school, uphill, through a blizzard, both ways, in the middle of the desert!

It's Troy again.

Back is doing much better. So that means it's dangerous. The worse time is right after a muscle strain heals enough to be comfortable again. That's when it's easiest to strain again.

But, today is sunny and highs in the lower 60s (F degrees). So it's time to take the cat's elaborate rotating pooping palace outside for a hose out and good scrubbing with vinegar. And the humidifiers. We're officially past the time where they're needed until Oct. So bleach and hose for them too.

Humidifiers are already outside. I'll wait until this afternoon to do the hosing out. Getting the cat's Litter Robot disassembled and outside is when I'm most likely to strain the back again. (photo: not my cat)...

Other than that, it's work on the next audiobook today. The AI voice is close, but not quite human narration good. But, this service is currently free to generate with (that will change soon). So I want to get production done while I can.

Good Morning All. Clear and 56° outside this morning. It hasn't rained in the last 43 hours! Forecast is for moderate weather for the next few days and then they are calling for a high temperature of 95° next Wednesday. Let's see if it sticks!

Graduations: Mine in 1969 from the Catholic HS had 123 graduates. By comparison, in our rural school district, daughter #1's class had 31, the largest at the time. Daughter #2's class had 13, while son's class had 23. The school still averages between 18 and 25 every year. All events including mine were in the gyms.

Question for those familiar with LH driving. I understand the wiper and turn signal confusion, but is the gas pedal/brake/clutch pattern reversed also?

It's the weekly grocery trek coming up this morning. Later on, I have the dishwasher to empty as I ran it last night. Usually don't do that before grocery list prep. I might get a bit of mowing in this afternoon, but there is still standing water in parts of the front yard.

I did get a start on the parking lot fence out in the train shed yesterday. It doesn't seem like much, but it took some time. I cut 24 fence posts for starters.

Then I tangled with the fencing material. I made a rough cut which I need to trim into a 1/2" x 28" fence.

This will be the first of several hard parts, trimming it so all of the tops are consistent. Maybe I'm being too precise, but I want it to look as good as several of my shorter fences.

John - Yep! The mosquitos are getting bad here too. They actually avoid biting me, but they buzz incessantly. My wife on the other hand is a mosquito magnet, and I have to listen to her bitch.

Everybody have a wonderful Thursday. Be safe.
