Pouring with rain again here in the UK, did capture a picture of my local station's one and only regular freight service on its outward run at lunchtime though:

An EMD Class 59/2 - a.k.a a JT42CWR or to put it another way, a SD40-2 squeezed and squashed into the much smaller UK loading gauge.

And yes that is the Genesee & Wyoming colour scheme, they own Freightliner here in the UK although I gather they may be about to sell it off again.

This is about 2 Miles East of Reardan just North of US2. Looks like the small gauge loop is operational. Pix was taken at about 100' per inch so they have ~1200' of ride space. I do not remember where the TT came from but do remember people at River City Modeler's talking about it a few years back and the problems getting it out of the pit.

Guess that I need to go and visit the place again. We are going to Spo on the 15 of July ( I think ), so maybe.

Later
Yes Sir, that's the place. While driving i spotted this little gem:

Standing in the field.

No train room today as daughter arrived. We have not seen her for a couple of weeks or more. I became the teaboy.

Some members may remember I had pneumonia a few weeks back. On an x-ray the doctors found a shadow on a lung.
Well, after two more x-rays, although there has been some improvement the shadow is still there. I have to have another x-ray.
I had better finish reading the book I am reading. It is a murder mystery. Got to know the murderer/ess. 🤣

I'm pretty sure this is a throw away. You can try to go to the store you've got it from, see what they say. Those screens have pretty much whole wiring hooked up to it, so probably not replaceable.
It's certainly replaceable but the cost is probably not worth it on an older phone. The screens are highly integrated but usually have a ribbon cable or other connector to interface it to the main phone.

Afternoon All,

Started out the day with a walk at 74F and very humid. Yesterday I broke a back molar (no pain), so off to the dentist I went first thing today. I have a referral to an Oral Surgeon on Friday morning. After getting home I replaced a GFI and regular plug, but that took several hours-don't ask. After that son and I removed a small rotten fruit tree in the side yard. It actually came out fairly easy. Now I'm sitting on my butt.

Mac- Nice photos. You and me both. My last set of co-workers called me Walter (Jeff Dunham).

Chet- Cute dogs. Great layout scenes.

Willie- Great news on the power. I hope your daughter is OK.

Smudge- Nice video.

David- Sounds like a great cat. Interesting slide show and videos. Nice layout shots. I wish you the best with the spot.

Troy- Smart move with the insurance. Nice looking Orc's.

Jay- Now it clicks why you post about Zurich airport. What do you do there?

Bill- Interesting photo.

Patrick- Happy Anniversary. Yes, his version was better.

Sherrel- Good news. In 2004 (I think) we had 4 hurricanes over Central Florida one after the other. Not good times.

Guy- Nice photos.

Todd- I don't see how it worked.

I hope everyone has a good night.

Curt, I think every one of those hurricanes went over both our living rooms. Very stressful month or so.

Afternoon All,

Todd- I don't see how it worked.

I hope everyone has a good night.
Curt: Ya I agree. After I found out about it, Maria told me that the same thing was happening when she was running her bath before bed. "Would dump water into the tub, then go to just drips for about 5 seconds, then back to dumping water again". To me, it should not have turned on at less than 30Psi, let alone turn off at 50Psi. I was gonna just replace the switch and gauge but after not being able to get the small pipe apart; I just went to Ace and got the 1/4in stuff - $10 bucks and did that whole portion; switch gauge and pipe.

Go Figure

Well howdy there internet peeps and those with phone and plumbing issues

It's Troy again...

Mom is now safely ensconced in her Matilda the Hun reclining chair in her "nursing home"room. Two ladies from her former senior apartment wing are right across the hall. But one is moving into a single room.

Unfortunately the person we thought would be coming to get mom's old furniture (kitchen table & chairs, two dressers, sleeper sofa, and twin bed) backed out. No pace to store it.

getting a resale shop like Goodwill or Habitat for humanity out for a donation is either pricy (Goodwill min $100 fee) or three weeks away (Habitat)... My sister is calling her church to put word out that it's free but needs to be gone this weekend.

There is always something...

Goodwill charges you to come pick stuff up that their going to turn around and sell?

I have never used them for a pick-up only drop off.

I guess were lucky living in a residential neighborhood. we just put stuff on the curb and the Junkers spidey senses kick in and its gone by nightfall. I suppose that's not an option in your situation.
