I understand Bitcoin, but I refuse to get caught up in the hype. My investments go into entities that have real sales, real physical assets and real employees. It's selling for around $66K right now, 5 months ago it was $126K. Pity the poor fool who bought it back then
While I do have like $1 worth or something, I have no interest in the so-called crypto. I did have maybe a $1000 into various ones but the exchange I had most of it at went bankrupt and took my wallet with even though I never opted in to their “interest bearing account” that allowed them to use it to make loans or whatever they were doing.

Even though it was $126k a few months ago, it has a history of going way up and way down.

As a buy and hold gamble you’re probably going to be ok for a while.

Good afternoon folks, 78 here and breezy. Went to sign up for PT for the back today and found out it will be quite expensive, even with the insurance covering a lot of it. I do have MRIs scheduled next Monday, so I will wait until after that and the conference on what is actually needing to be done. Willie, the general store is looking good. Migalyto, hope the Dolphin cruise and trip to Cape Canaveral are great.
Cleared the van out for my Missus to take to a Ladies Conference next week, it is VERY popular for the ladies, I suggested auctioning the seating, but TLOTH just gave me "The Look". Then put a little paint on some more mechs, as it looks like I will be starting to run Battletech again. Once I get this batch done I will start on a TTrak module. You guys all have a good day.

Well, howdy there internet fasters.

It's Troy again, wondering if my arteries harden just by looking at Bill's pictures, or if I need a real Full English for that?

Thought I'd toss a sneak peek at the next update over here:

I was making it up as I went along putting up the backing frame for the backdrop. Just make it match the tables of the benchwork. Well, that gave me a gap of 8 inches.

I figure that's fine. I was going to install 2x2 uprights down the center of the middle peninsula, and re-use the bullnose from the old version of the layout... A bit of coving on one side of the center divider won't be a big problem.

I'll cut and install those tomorrow. Along with cutting the salvaged 8ft backdrop pieces down to fit that peninsula. It actually works out that the old cut-out for the tunnel is in a good spot as long as I cut the left end off that piece. Cutting the right end would be the wrong end. So left is right in this case. Unless it's upside-down. Then I'm hosed.

thus making it harder to find
The commissary likes to change their shelves around once in a while, just because. It makes a 10 min shopping into 30+ and a lot of miles as I have to go up and down each aisle a few times trying to get a hand basket's worth of stuff. It takes about a year before I finally figure out the new pattern and have to get a store worker to help me after a few minutes of searching. The large bulky items like paper towels and toilet paper used to be at the end of the store near the entrance to the check out lines are. Now they are at the other end so I have to lug them back.

I've asked them several times to stop doing that and leave it all as is.

Since I shop with the hand basket, I rarely do impulse buys since I have to carry it. The dairy and frozen won't move since they are not going to move the refers.

If they hung good signs up above the aisles, that would help, but they may just as well say "stuff is here" and not to mention how they categorize the items. Velveeta is not in the cheese area but in the italian food area. I know, velveeta is not really cheese. haha

Reminds me of shopping with mom. She would walk down an aisle past something she spotted...do a 180 to circle back...pass the object of her desire a second time, but going in the opposite direction...and then make another 180 to come back alongside it yet again, but at a slower speed. Usually stopped...examined it...then put it into her basket or cart or back onto the shelf and then "regained original search speed" as she moved on up the aisle until the next target reared up. Rinse, circle back...circle again...and repeat. Search speed depended on the store: Grocery store pretty fast. But a in curio shop...good grief! Even high speed was a literal crawl!

It was like watching a Navy Destroyer hunting a submarine, as far as the plot goes.

I don't know what they're up to these days. I haven't been in a military commissary in over 30 years. But I do know how retail merchandises all of the junk they sell.
