Good morning gang!

29° under clear skies heading for a high today of 55°.

I have a 9 AM appointment this morning at a place called total eye care. When I went for my new glasses last week, they told me to see an eye specialist because of pressure in my eyes. With their family history of glaucoma and cataracts, they wanted me to get checked out. Hopefully they won’t dilate my eyes.

hey forum folks

that Scenery Book looks interesting. Is this still available?

i was in my basement yesterday. and i added some of the first layers on my rocks on my N Scale layout.
so far iam quit happy with the outcome. net step is adding some earth and green things ;)

Those look awesome!

Morning all,

61° and clouds moving out. Had a line of thundershowers build on top of use and move East. Got a lot of lightning and a few brief raindrops. Overall, hardly enough to settle the dust on unpaved roads. 86° for the temp later. Should set a new high temp record for the day.

Troy: I like that angel better with the sword. She gain or lose any hit points?

Never owned a router. I used them plenty of times when I was a carpenter on the railroad. Never thought I would need one. Bought a Bosch router on Amazon for my railroad build. I absolutely love it! It’s small enough to hold with one hand so I can hold a vacuum cleaner hose in the other hand. Cuts down on the dust by 80%.

It’s the little things in life that make me smile

Good Morning All. Light fog and 55° here this morning. Rain yesterday didn't amount to anything; My gauge almost got wet. Weather Underground shows 0.05" just around the corner. Rain has been removed from today's forecast but is still there for tomorrow. Otherwise, early spring weather for the next ten days.

I didn't get much done outside yesterday after it started misting,, but I did get in about 40 minutes of weed removal in the garden, followed by a short session with the weedeater around the pool. Then it was indoors assisting my wife with Spring cleaning.
Today starts with the weekly grocery trek and includes stops at the Vitamin Shop and Home Depot.

Out in the train shed yesterday, I continued exploring "mystery boxes" that were stored under the layout. I knew about most of the stuff in them, but the following parts have me mystified.
IMG_0581.JPG

What are they? And where did I salvage them from? They were in a container with these which I recognize as alternate hatches for covered hoppers.
IMG_0584.JPG

Maybe they're parts to use if I had modeled open hatches? Or maybe they came from some other freight cars.

No further comments about yesterday's posts, as I don't drink coffee and haven't really had a scammer issue. No one wants to sell me an extended warranty...should I feel deprived???

I need to go now, The fog is beginning to clear and I need to walk before showering and heading out to the grocery store. Everyone have a great Thursday.

Changes how she plays:
Spear&Shield gives healing abilities to units around her, but she has to be in combat causing wounds to other units. Half of what she causes gets healed in units nearby.

Sword: She gets a free 12" charge (her normal max is 14"+1d6") and does a holy smite of 7 hits (saves allowed - but ignores armor)

A lot of players built their angel with Shield and Sword, to fit both options. You just have to mark it on the roster sheet which power you selected.

Good mornin; Crew. Under mostly clear skies and plenty of sunshine, it's 58 here in Cheyenne with temps headed for the mid-70s this afternoon. Winds are from the W @ 10, gusting to 13. With no precipitation in the immediate forecast, we're looking at another very pleasant day in southeast Wyoming. Yesterday was, by far, the nicest day we've had since we've been here. That'll all change Saturday when the latest Pacific winter storm brings colder temps and snow Saturday afternoon and evening.
Good visit with cardiologist yesterday. EKG, blood work, etc. all within or close to acceptable limits. Increasing my activity level and getting a little better everyday. Got appt with primary care doc today for routine checkup, lab work etc.
Beautiful day yesterday. Lots of sunshine, 75 degrees and light winds. Accompanied NJ(ret) furniture shopping after Dr visit. She found a really nice looking, comfy chair at Ashley. Getting it delivered Monday. Today is my day to shop after Dr visit. Probably the usual Harbor Freight and Michael's.

TomO asked me about a thread I started over at MRH but I'm sticking here. Started a new TSE thread in Layout section and probably start another one in the Locomotives/Rolling Stock section in the next couple of days. Bunch of good friendly folks and model railroaders here plus I like the way forum is set up, so I ain't goin' nowhere. Thanks for putting up with my wishy-washy stuff about the layout, but maybe I've finally gotten back on track.
Y'all have a good day and take care.
