Good Morning All!
49F @ 79% sorta overcast.

Lil was 1 month old yesterday. Maria thru together a 16x16' pen with Hog Panel last week and put it out under the old shade tree. She also found Lamb Starter which is small extruded chunks of *something* which go into a dish in the pen. 1st time using that stuff so we did not know if Lil would partake. Well, buried her face in it and chows down. We started putting her in the pen a few hours at a time, and are now leaving her in the pen during the day so she can acclimatize to the outside. She has a hut, and dish with a few stacked cinder blocks to play on. Spends almost the whole time grazing and eating the starter. Upper teeth are much longer so she is able to tear grass/weeds/whatever to small pieces for cud chewing. Still not drinking water out of a bowl but think she is getting enough with the grazing. We bring her in at night, sleeps like a log until around 0800 when the bitch'n starts. She is only getting the 'bottle' 3 times a day now. She is processing food better with cud chewing all of the time. Her stool, when we can find it ( Jake eats it ) is solid and good looking. Shoulders and hips are getting wider with body mass and associated fat to go with it. She is almost as tall as our smallest cat ( Callie ) but not as heavy. Callie was fixed a couple of years ago and puts the weight on. Will get her weight and pix maybe later today.

Bees whom are elevated to Male get killed by the Queen after mating with her. That is their whole life. So: Honey, Nut, Cheerio!

-and-

My 5Yo son was chewing on a plugged in extension cord. I had to ground him for it. He is doing better currently, conducting himself properly making positive progress. I am shocked!

Ima back. Got light enough and noticed something new on the horizon. We have been hearing a ton of construction stuff going on - scraping, digging, rock rolling ... etc. We did a very short trip yesterday to see if we could find where the noise was coming from .. nada. When we got back, we then heard what sounded like metal roof was getting screwed to something. There was a lot of cussing and groaning too. Ya, well - progress?

That was not there yesterday, so the mystery is solved. Probably a Verizone tower...

Good morning all............

I had a few laughs with this :

Enjoy............

Those poor cats 😃. Came back home yesterday, took off my shoes and sat down on the "throne". Before that i left the sliding door slightly open to let the air in, and for the cat to be able to get in the house at her pleasure...well she brought a "friend" again, i could hear it from the noise she was making while trying to hold the thing in her mouth. She comes to the bathroom with a chipmunk in her mouth and of course she lets it on the floor to show me off her trophy. The chipmunk takes off, first under the toilet bowl, where she chased it out of there. It runs to the living room where all i could do was to listen her chasing it around. I finally got #2 done, went to the living room only to find this thing hiding behind my hobby table, where she could not reach it. I chased the chipmunk out, she takes off after it again with the chipmunk going in behind my book case. It took me a while to chase it out from behind that. Chipmunk takes off again across the living room, she's after it. It runs again behind the book case, i chased it out of there again. Got it trapped under the stack of magazines which i had to take down from the book case in order get the thing from behind it. I finally grabbed the thing (wore carpenter gloves for that). Carried the thing outside and let it run, with her meowing still inside the living room, thinking that the chipmunk was still there. Fun times at the household.

Good Morning All. Partly cloudy and 75°, mid-90's later on. Maybe rain on Friday, Sunday and Monday. Our normal wet May weather pattern is running about a month behind this year, except it's warmer than normal.

Finally got around to climbing on the tractor and mowing yesterday. Two 45 minute sessions got the entire east side and part of the north side done, maybe 1.75 acres. The growth was heavier than I expected since it only just rained Sunday! I'll catch the south and southwest sides today, after the dishwasher and a load of laundry.

Not much time out in the train shed yesterday, but I did get a little more ground cover in place. I'll have to look at it today, since I had an adult beverage when I finished mowing.

Troy - What scale is that Coven Mansion at it's original 420mm x 520mm size? It looks like a really neat structure. Is your 70% printing 1:87 scale?
Michael - I also have many sets of painted Preiser, Walther's, Noch and Woodland Scenics figures scattered about on the layout. I am a strong believer in figures bringing a layout to life.
Todd - Whoever's tower that is, it's probably not your service.
Kusojiji - Is this a picture of you in the mask?

Everyone have a great Wednesday.

Good morning. My glucose went from 108 to 135 after seeing Bill’s donuts.

It’s 75 heading to 86f degrees. It will be dry today a 1/2” yesterday

Went to the movie theater as it was Tuesday yesterday. Saw Power Ballad with Paul Rudd and Nick Jonas. It was actually pretty good. But I like movies with lots of music being played

The realtor came Monday and emailed Terry her thoughts on a price for the house yesterday. If we get within $100,000. of what she says we will get I’ll be in a pleasant shock. We are in a coveted area though even with ridiculous taxes. Great neighborhood, truly superb schools, great access to the UW Madison campus and downtown Madison. Most importantly though is we are less than a mile from the sprawling campus of Epic Systems. If your medical portal is called My Chart, that is Epic Systems. Most of my neighborhood and the close by apartment complexes are Epic employees. There are only !!! 13,000 employees on campus and honestly traffic wise you’d never know it and all employee parking there is underground. Most around here bike or electric scooter to work. Dane County Wisconsin is supposedly top 5 in the US for biking. Our neighborhood proves it. The realtor we always use is coming this morning and another this afternoon. Our plan is to put the house up for sale on 6/30. We’ll be gone most of July so the realtors can come and go as they want. Other than cleaning the house weekly nothing needs to be done to this place.

We have not decided 100% about our next move. We like tall open areas and while we still like to entertain that has lessened the last few years. It will be one level with walk out basement so there will absolutely be an elevator for Terry now and probably me later. We both dislike the look of those stair climber lifts.

My modeling stuff is now at the daughter’s work shop/office/stable/chicken coop. The granddaughter has 30 chickens she takes care of everyday and has agreements with 15 people to buy the eggs weekly. She donates all left over eggs to one of the local churches pantries. Every 2 days with her dad they move the chicken run.

The layout is next. I know I am not saving anything except the rail and remaining buildings. The framing has survived 2 moves but it is time. If build again it will be all new. I have had a couple asks for my grain complex

Enjoy your day

Temp now 86°F/75°F. Heat index is supposed to be 104°F today. It did not make 108°F yesterday, but 106°F. I doubt anyone could tell a 2° difference in this rain forest humidity.

It is not the Purina Pro-Plan I'm starting Willow on, but the Purina One. She cleaned up the rest of whatever food I was given when she came here, and I put down about 10 Oz of the Purina One. It was gone in about five minutes. She loves it. She doesn't usually eat until evening after dark, but when that bowl of lamb Purina One hit the floor she was all over it this morning.

Grass is getting shaggy again, but you won't see me behind a lawn mower until Friday when this heat breaks. I don't care if it's 6", I won't tolerate this heat when I don't have to.

Good morning folks, hope you are all well today. It is 85F here heading for 92 with humidity uncomfortably high. Heat Index is predicted at 106F today. So we are not getting out today except for a run to the Post Office and Church this evening. Tomorrow will be as bad, but we do have to run to Searcy for a few things, so we will do that early! Need to pick up more clay at Hobby Lobby as it is 40% off this week and it is doing what I need it to on my small layout. Working on the first pot of coffee. Hope you all have a great day!

Troy - What scale is that Coven Mansion at it's original 420mm x 520mm size? It looks like a really neat structure. Is your 70% printing 1:87 scale?
It was originally made for tabletop gaming (Dungeons & Dragons). Hence the modular structure. The characters (the miniature people the players control) can move throughout as the game progresses.

D&D miniatures are generally 28-30mm tall for an average human. So that's in the 1:56 scale. I settled on downsizing it to 70% of that to get it into the HO 1:87ish scale range.

Dirty old man😁
Me? Look at the photo Willie posted!
Those panties appear to be clean, nothing dirty about it.

Amazon delivers Purina dog foods, many varieties. Just saying ;)

My mind works in mysterious ways, I'm just glad it works at all. 🤪 Anyway, here in the midst of the MLB season two names from the past popped into my mind; John Brockington and MacArthur Lane - the original thunder‑and‑thunder backfield. I know of at least one coffee shop patron who will remember this duo.

That is al for now from the cobwebs of my mind.
