Good morning, ooops afternoon gang!
92° and sunny with a 50% chance of thunderstorms later. Neighbors out cutting grass in this heat, those lawns will be toasted as this heat wave continues. Me I say let it go. We normally don't this kind of heat til August when everyone normally takes a few weeks off from mowing.
We had Brown Swiss cows growing up which also gave some very rich milk, (@4%) so much so that you had to shake the milk vigorously before pouring it because of the cream and fats separating in the fridge. Great stuff. It makes whole milk from the grocery store taste like skim milk by comparison. Also makes the best ice cream you every could imagine. I'd love to try longhorn milk!

I agree!Problem, what problem? I drink it, I love milk, it's the best part!
While I have not tried it, Longhorns produce milk with a high butterfat content of 6%, supposedly tastes sweeter than standard cow's milk and excellent for making cheese. As for trying it, I am not aware of any commercially available Longhorn milk. As for milking them yourself, they are extremely docile animals, but you gotta watch the horns. They might turn their heads and accidentally knock you over.

Chicken! Ain't nothing to it just grab a bucket and a teat and get at it! Just make sure you know the difference between a cow and a bull! Not going to happen. I'll let the farms handle that.
L8ter!!
