Mike: I have a bunch of them set to 03. I bought a Lokprogam for the ESU decoders I just have to clear off enough workbench space to accoodate a couple section of Ready Track and my Laptop. ALL of my other stuff is at least minimally programmed.. I's quite awkward when you set the controller to o3, and five engines start moving. I also have JMRI downloaded, but haven't gone any farther.

You should be able to use the Esu LokProgrammer to program any brand decoder for the basic standard set of CVs. (Not necessarily vendor proprietary extensions).

Made it to Mom's for the meeting. She's not doing poorly at the nursing home. Social worker met with mom, me and sisters.

Overall, reports were good. He raised that question that Mom is still a "Full Resuscitation" (Her desire changed once she had her major heart AFIB episode.) He explained that she needs to be aware of what that means at her age if staff have to do CPR to her.

After listening, Mom said she wasn't ready to change her mind. Her wishes are what matters.

Doc had to telehealth into his patients at the nursing home, because he picked up Covid. Earlier yesterday he called mom and dropped her waterpill down to half the dose. The Nurse-Practicioner has handling the tough stuff that needed personal touch. He has to do the telephone part until he is clear enough to be around at risk elderly again.

That's it for now.

You would think so, eh? Last time I tried I got a "not reading notification" , No biggie. Prodigy Advanced² allows me to program right from the controller. either program track or on the main. JMRI works with the MRC interface. I have options, just don't think of them.

Strange. I think I tried this with some of my non ESU decoders and it worked, but I mainly use my D&H programmer as the ESU is new and I only tested it out, as I had bought a few ESU micro decoders. At least you have some options.

Neighbor's car alarm kept going off at 3 am...
They got it stopped about 3:30, but by then I (and probably most of the neighborhood) was up.
It's gonna be a long day.
Hmm. My Denis the Menace self kind of kicked in a high gear reading that. I would take a picture of a sledge hammer, put it under the windshield wiper with a note stating: "You might want to take care of that problem, or the neighborhood watch will deal with it"😃

Morning all,

Been busy in the run up to surgery next week. Have several things I needed to write procedures so the rest of the staff can cover my position while I'm out. At my age, it's something I've been reluctant to do for a while. Just CYA if you catch my drift. Things to get done at home and work before surgery that I won't be able to do for a couple of month afterwards. The surgeon won't release me back for even light duty until mid-July at the earliest.

Thought I'd post some Garden shots:

First Cucumber..

If you look closely, you'll see the tennis ball sized tomato on the plant in the corner. All the tomato plants have tomatoes at this time. I specifically bought determinate tomato varieties this year.

I'll catch up on reading in a bit. Between my pre-op appointments and stuff with the wife, we're pretty busy. Still no surgery time yet, just the date.
