If skeptical of everything, you could always go full breatharian.

Unless you also plan to climb Everest. I suspect a journey up into "The death zone," where thinness of oxygen is the major worry WOULD tend to be somewhat in conflict. Just sayin'. . .

That said, they might have mud on Everest. But you have to have a camp stove or ...a microwave...to thaw it out.

I'm sure some medicine was in fact discovered and developed with good intentions. But once the farmaceutical companies bosses realized how much money is to be made off of selling their wares, the directives have changed. Corruption is the natural state of a man.
While the climb up to Mt. Everest sounds interesting, my explorations have a different purpose, and it's not fame. I do have other places in mind i'd like to see though.

Say what!!

Ive heard of some strange things, and maybe fallen for a few, but this... 🤔
Yep, she was in such pain that i thought i'm loosing her that day. Either way we're not together anymore, as she decided to part ways with me. So her issues are someone elses problem now. It's amazing what kind of nonsense some of these "medicine men" (and women) will come up with just to make a buck.

Time for the sandman, as I turn off the basement light I say,

Oilers 1 Panthers 2

Not the ending I really wanted but it was a very good game 7 for the final game of hockey’s Stanley Cup

Congrats to the Florida Panthers
Despite the time of the game being in the middle of my normal sleep. I watched the end of the game.

I woke up in time to see much of the third period. I didn't see a single goal, but it was amazing to watch!

I lost a little sleep, but it was worth it.

Although it would have been better to see the Capitals win the cup. There is always next year.

What you don't know, woun't hurt you
I believed that. I continued to think that after receiving the last rites, twice. The third time I finally realized the error of my ways. I never miss a single doctor's appointment now. I even go to the dentist twice a year.

I admire and respect priests, but I don't ever want to see another priest visit me in the hospital.

No one knows the hour or day when we leave except one Entity.
I believe, free will is our greatest gift. We are all free to make our own choices. We are also accountable for those choices. They can come with consequences, positive or negative, depending on what and how we choose.

"To God, all moments of time are present in their immediacy. When therefore he establishes his eternal plan of "predestination", he includes in it each person's free response to his grace."

But that's my own way of life from my own experiences and no one is forced to subscribe to it.
Absolutely true! We must respect other people's beliefs.

Well, howdy there internet peeps and those with a giant cup full of tools,

It's Troy again.

I just had to move my doc appointment for the annual check up due to scheduling a cruise right over that.
And... wife's employer requires we do an annual wellness check. It used to rely solely on BMI. I was and still am over that limit of 30 BMI. Got under it ONE year. Then we moved out of Los Angeles where we walked 3 miles a day or so (LA Traffic is NOT good). But, donuts and midwest cooking, plus weather... ugh, the pounds came back.

Had to use the sleep headband last night for tinnitus. the one with a thin speaker over each ear. I tried a different sound therapy and ended up with some WIERD dreams. Woke up at 1:30 and switched back to my jungle frogs and crickets program. Not a single dream after that. (well, that I remember)

I head to the new audiologist later today. Looking forward to test flying my third set of new hearing aids. AND, I'm looking forward to a comprehensive hearing test by an audiologist. At Costco, I got the Hearing Instrument Specialist, since our local doesn't have an Audiologist on staff.

Not that they can't do a good job. But they weren't authorized to turn on the Tinnitus maskers. Takes an audiologist. And then the first independent Audiologist I went to gave me a five minute test. His idea was maximum patients each day. I returned both sets of aids.

Today, new hearing aids, hopefully fit to match my conditions. New ones will have new battery tech, and the tinnitus masker will be on board the aids. Currently, I'm bluetoothing it over from my phone. So the bluetooth connection is draining the batteries faster. I usually have to take them out for a 1 hour charge in the middle of the day to make it to bed time when I put them back on the charger.

Ok, back to wording the mystery words. We finally found the victim, stabbed with the unicorn horn. The game is Afoot!
