If you didn't install Low-E glass to begin with, shame on you. But there is always the option of installing a full solar screen. Must be full to work.
These are super efficient special coated low e triple pane windows (tilt turn). AFAIK. I can look up their specs if you want. The architect who specced them specced them according to where they were and what sun they’d get. In the winter I want the sun to warm it up a little.

But I’m not sure what this room was specced with. We did have to be careful when the windows came that the correct windows were put in the correct room for windows with identical shapes/sizes.

But you still get direct sunlight in that warms things up a little. It’s not warming it 10 degrees or more. Like we could get at the old house. Just a couple.

Make sure everyone is with whom they are supposed to be. I’ve heard it can be brutal if you accidentally sit in the wrong row.
Yea! Don't want to end up being the reason for this T-shirt!

Yes. It is a special weave of the screen material, usually fiberglass here in US, that blocks 80% of the sunlight, keeps the insects out and still allows air to flow through if wanted.

This was their cheapest serie. They have a -7 and -9 which are better and much pricier

The daughter and hubby told us yesterday that the 4 couples they are going with will switch partners just to have some fun if caught on camera. I guess since the cam caught the really stupid couple Chris Martin of Coldplay has announced the kiss cam was coming out before it does the last 2 shows.

You know have an affair but be private about it. Going to a public concert that says you may be filmed on the ticket and posted signs at the venue saying it again and your PDA gets shown, you deserve whatever happens. Just stupid! I guess he resigned today from Astronomiter or wherever they work. She’s next!

I think the Philly Kiss Cam reenactment by the mascots is a hoot

Good afternoon gang!

Lawn was done, took a shower and went to get my hair cut. I was due before the heart surgery, 7 weeks after surgery I was really due! After which I was a baaaaad boy. I hadn't had lunch yet (almost 2 pm) so I stopped at Wendy's and got a Dave's double with only onion and Mustard and a large chocolate Frosty. After 6 weeks of turkey, fish, veggies and chicken I wanted some beef!

It was sooooo good and I don't regret it one damn bit! 😁

There are times to feed the body, and times to feed the soul

Last October I found a Paasche Model H air brush and compressor at a tag sale for $10.
Bought a couple of bottles at Hobby Lobby and made a replacement finger button
to replace the missing one. Went to the local thrift store looking for for train cars to
practice on. Of course-none to be had. Time for plan B. Since today is a nice day-
temp in 80's and not very humid I went out to the garage and practiced spraying water
on a piece of cardboard. Took a some fiddling with pressure and gun adjustments but
ended up with a nice pattern.

I'm sure there are a lot of other variables that will be needed to be addressed when using
real paint. Looking forward to practicing on real cars when I can find a couple. I'm sure there
will be gnashing of teeth and a lot of muttering as I learn the mechanics of masking and other
such things.

Another aspect of the hobby to conquer.

That's awesome! If they are filmed, tell them to take a cowardly dive to the floor. 🤣

Wouldn't you of loved to have been a fly on the wall for that ride home? Bet it wasn't the blissful night he
thought it would be!

You’ll be fine. Tip dry is your enemy and basically means your paint is too thick or the psi is too high. Have fun.
