Well it slowly cleared up and is now more blue than cloudy though you still have a bunch of scattered clouds. It hit 90F, which is 3-5F more than forecast. Luckily it didn't clear up until the sun was past where it shines into my office so even though I have not yet got the blinds in, it was not quite as warm in the office and feels rather ok.

Evening all,

Knee replaced and I have already started using it! Made it home a bit after 5:00pm. Went well as far as both the Dr and I can tell. Hit all release milestones early. Dr said it probably should have done it last year. Already started weaning off the Oxycondone. I hate the way it makes me feel. Just gotta keep moving, and on that front, this was a long week being off my ibuprofen for my arthritis. Thankfully the pain drugs include the ibuprofen and acetaminophen.

I will say that the whole experience was better in a good way. No big bulky padding, no movement machine, no warfarin, more mobile from the start. They used a spinal block, which reduced the amount of anesthesia they needed.

Troy: Happy anniversary to you and the Mrs.

Y'all in your 40's and 50's better enjoy it, the check engine light comes on in your 60's.

Great to hear everything went well. You'll be up and running around better than before in no time. Just keep it moving and yeah I'm with you, rather not be on pain meds if at all possible.

Again, glad to hear you home and doing good.

I’m not an expert but I think the original Scout is considered the “original” SUV? Idk.

It’s looking good. That’s a lot of work for I to body work on older vehicles.

Sorry have to differ with you about it's the original SUV.

THIS is the original. 🤣🤣🤣

Glad to hear the news Patrick! You will be back to dancing a jig soon!

Good morning, Everybody!

Patrick, I'm glad to see all is well!

Now all we need is to hear from Boris. Please keep those prayers coming.

Baseball is back! Not the result I was hoping for my Birds. Rays 11 - Orioles 1 Lose by 10 or 1, it all counts the same in the standings. Old Charlie Morton was not sharp on the mound for my Birds.

All seven of the Orioles and Rays games this year have been decided by 3 runs or more. What does that mean? Nothing really, it's just interesting.

The Rays' starter, Taj Bradley, who the Orioles owned, 14+ERA in his two previous starts made some adjustments. Baseball is a game of adjustments. The adjustments he made worked, 6IP, 0ER, 3H, 1BB & 6K. Most importantly he kept the ball out of the middle of the plate. He looked like a different pitcher. It's always good to see a young man go from being a thrower, to becoming a pitcher. And Taj's old school low 80s 12-6 curveball is something to see! Especially after seeing high heat at 97MPH! You won't see that anywhere but MLB.

On the bright side, Jim Palmer was the color commentator. He is always fun to listen to. As always there are plenty of amazing things to see in an MLB game. Most of these guys are awesome athletes!

I no longer attend games. When I did, I would be the guy standing after either team did something amazing. I got some strange looks when it was the visiting team. "Wow! Did you see that?" o_O I used to be able to do some of those things. It's hard to believe now. I'm a "Weeble", I wobble but I don't fall down. Yet! 🤪

Have a fun day Everybody!
