Stocks, I’ve given our kids suggestions but never a tip. The son is big on tech stuff and when he couldn’t get new video cards because of the data MINING SURGE few years ago he said buy some NVIAD. Glad I actually listened for once as NVIAD has been a nice stock and it fit my portfolio because I buy stocks that do dividends.
My "tips" are suggestions. Semantics on my part. ;) Tips are only given to congress critters.

It's definitely gambling & speculation. AI Algorithms control the market more than people now.

I am so pleased with this AI image I had to share,

Now a thunderstorm with heavy rain. No end in sight to this heat, rain, and grass needing cut.
You just can't make this up.:( How do you leave your pistol behind?

Those are people that never, or seldom ever carry a firearm in public. If they brought it along for their own safety, they would be in real trouble if they ever actually had to use it to defend themselves.

No one that I know that carries regularly would ever 'forget' their self defence tool.

Good morning, Everybody!

I'm looking forward to good news from Boris and Patrick.

Stocks... like Sargent Schultz, "I know nothing!" Too many "teams" and too many variables. Add in politics, forget about it! I leave it to the experts; I do like the Fidelity Magellan Fund. My son did tell me Nvidia was going to be big, but I didn't buy into it. I have never owned an individual stock. I do have several Nvidia video cards, thanks to Terry's good advice, but that doesn't count.

The dark days of no baseball are almost over! The Red Sox will play a day game in Wrigley today at 2:20pm, Go Cubs! I love day games; there is a good chance I will see an inning or two before I fall asleep.

My Orioles will play in Tampa Bay tonight at 7:35pm. Let's go O's! No chance I will be awake for that. Unless I wake up early and catch the end. Thank God for MLB.TV and the replays of all the games. I won't miss a single pitch!

Have an enjoyable day Everybody!

Never forget, you are all Capital people! 😁

I'm not sure what is going on with the Rays. They were in talks for St Pete to build them a new stadium, then Milton damaged their field. Suddenly, they don't want a new field, or the old one fixed. It may all be part of a negotiating tactic, or they may be trying to find an excuse to leave. We'll see. In the meantime, they're playing at the Yankee's Spring Training field.

Well, howdy there internet peeps, and Fans of the soon to be cancelled Late Show with Stephen Colbert...

It's Troy again...

Wife's Gnat Garden is sprouting well!

The yellow flowers are sticky traps. And she got a bag of this, mixed it into water per the directions and sprayed the soil with it...

Todays also the 38th anniversary. Card is locked and loaded. I'll sign and position it when I finish this post. It's also grocery run day, so I'll get some floral stuff while I'm out.

Here's hoping we hear from our surgery patients today, and all went well.

Good morning,

51f and sunny, gadget says rain starts in 57 minutes but not a cloud in the sky...

I think I overdid it yesterday with the body work on the old suburban, splitting wood, and a couple hours on the ladder rehanging some of my backdrop, so will be going in granny gear this morning...

Tennis racket bug Zapper, we donated our nearly new ones to the thrift store as we were only batting about 70/1000.

Fungus gnats, we watched a good YouTube video and are adding sugar to the apple cider vinegar and soapy water solution, very effective.

Also, a hydrogen peroxide water solution will kill eggs if applied to dry soil...

Stocks, none. Mom and dad lost several hundred thousand investing in the long haul, an apparent unscrupulous advisor.

I previously had my 401 in the s+p 500 index fund and got good returns. I no longer want to use up my brain power for making money. Where I am going, the streets are paved with gold...

The weekend is coming, meaning very slow internet for me after 9am, at least that has been observed of late

Hopefully BBL

For the first time in about 2 weeks I stepped outside to 73 degrees, low humidity, and a nice breeze
out of the north-which is a nice change from the hot and humidity that we have been dealing with.
Here in western Mass, we've managed to dodge the damaging rains and storms which have been
hammering nearby areas.

Everyone have a good day!

Well, howdy there again...

Flowers and a watermelon have been procured and delivered.

It's 66 F° currently (and humid, but it's cool!) with great Air Quality numbers, so I opened the windows and put the fans in front of them to blow some cool clean air through the house. I'll deal with the humidity once it warms up and I kick the AC back on.

Thanks for the anniversary wishes. I'm always amazed at how long the ladies will put up with us. Sometimes I wonder if it's just because they don't want to train new husbands?

Suburban project, here is what I have been talking about from time to time. This is my "Daily Driver", a 1988 4 x 4. The "original" SUV, I believe

Most of my shop works takes place in the shade. I added a couple patch pieces and rebuilt part of the fender. The inner fender is new after-market piece, added a couple years ago.

I don't think this truck will ever be finish painted, I am never quite satisfied with the quality of my body work. More coats of bondo and lots of sanding took place before the wheel went back on.

Good morning all!

Happy Friday!

A decent northern Illinois day on tap. Currently its 65F heading up to a high of 80F under mostly sunny skies. No
precipitation forecasted for today, but could be some tomorrow and Sunday. Humidity is a little high but not all
that terrible.

Probably will mow later this morning after the dew dries off some. A few other minor household duties to attend
to as well, but nothing big.

Did get in the train room some yesterday and hopefully more today to try and get a little more scenery done. It will train running
this weekend since I haven't run any in a while.

Have a safe day everyone!
