When I went in for my colonoscopy, the experience was like something ftom the twilight zone.

The nurse putting in the iv seemed way too happy. When the fluid hit my veins, it felt like ice water flowing into my heart, I actually felt the movement.

Next thing I know it felt like I was waking from death, almost like time stopped and a very long dream happened.

I passed out and came too. Not sure how much time elapsed. Nurse chuckling to herself. I thought I died.

After that, the anesthesiologist wondered why I was there in the first place. I told him my doctor advised it. To him, since I did not have any risk factors, I shouldn't be wasting their time.

Needless to say, that was my last colonoscopy. Confirmation of my trust issues.
They must have used the good stuff on you. I had that when I got my shoulder worked on. The after effects were bad with headaches for a month. I had the same feeling when I had to get a colonoscopy done off base. Nurse was talking and then I was waking up with a real heavy feeling and not really there yet.

When I get it done on base, they ask me how much I weigh and then measure out the juice accordingly. Normally I wake up after it is done. One time, though, I woke up in the middle. Sounded like Harry and the Hendersons as the howl started coming out. They scrambled and juiced me again.

I should have lied and added 100 lbs to my weight estimate haha

Your aneesthesiologist sounds like his bedside manner needs tweaking.

Now your nurse, reminds me of that In Living Color episode...

On a better note, I sorted most of my box cars, the new Bachmann 0-6-0, Walthers S-1, and Rivarosi 0-6-0 ran flawlessly.

Still a little jolting with the Varney. I think I will spring for new Athearn caboose pickup trucks.

Spent 2 hours running trains :):):):):)

Sleep well and pleasant dreams

I have a couple of those trucks coming in shortly. I'll post critical dimensions.

I ended up buying a mantua 0-6-0 tender. They will be going on that, hopefully...

Awe, I was hoping to catch a running session on your channel.

Well, just got home from my neurology appointment in Tokyo. We were lucky again as we were able to have a seat most of the way to and all of the way back.

Neurologist said that there is nothing wrong. I have .54% atrophy which is way below any concern. The scan with the dye was to check blood flow and there were no dead spots. So physically, I'm GTG. That's good news.

He suggested that it may be the drugs that I am on. They thought that I was still on cymbalta, but I told them I stopped that a while ago. The drugs was my concern that I mentioned to him in the initial visit, but he scoffed and said we needed to rule out physical issues first. Today he changed his tone. I told my wife that he must have had a bad day that time.

Now, I give the results back to the base doc and see what he wants to do.

As for insurance, Japan insurance has paid 70% of everything so far. The rest of the 30% I will claim against tricare (military).

Good morning! It's 73°F and partly cloudy. 🌤️
