The ads today on the site are kind of strange. An ad from Alibaba labeled "vehicle parts and accessories" with a bunch of pics of women in bikini or bikini style underwear except for one thing in a one piece body suit underwear that looks like a "trans woman" and a pic of two identical things that is not identifiable but kind of look like thick purple stocks of some woody vegetable that have been cut to length. Or umbrellas in tight zip up bags with the zipper not exposed.

I saved a screen shot but don't want to post it in case someone might be offended... lol. I'll be happy to share through DM if anyone wants a laugh

Just where have you been other than here??? 🤔🙄😬🤫. I’m just seeing grocery store ads.

Tom, I may have the same TV! 65" TCL Roku TV, I love it! That's a great deal, I paid $749 for mine. I'm not sure what class mine is. I bought mine a few years ago. The one your son recommends is probably better than mine. I haven't liked a TV this much since my 25" floor model Zenith.
Thank you. We decided that the TV has to die to be replaced. Terry says if it freezes every now and while while she is on the treadmill she’s ok with it. I then asked if it’s not a problem why did you have me check into fixing or replacing it. I got the “wife” look and I backed off.

Goodnight

Evening all,

Did a couple of quizzes we're starting to enforce on the rest of the city. Then had to deal with a couple of minor issues for users, then came home. Got both mine and the son's lawn mowed and picked 10 large tomatoes and another couple of pounds of the yellow pear tomatoes. I also have started getting some of the red jellybean tomatoes as well. I'm getting some blossom end rot on all vines and still not sure why. Have been adding calcium nitrate to the soil when planted and another round in the soil a couple weeks later. Harvest is still good on everything.

Broke the weedeater, but I can get the missing screw at Ace hardware locally. Seems to keep losing the screw that holds the gas tank on. Had a nice meal with fresh tomatoes and cucumbers along with some air fried chicken nuggets. Grandkids didn't want them so we eat them.

Have a good night.

George: I have been doing my taxes for as long as I remember. Every year, I deal with dividends, interest and Capital gains, from my trades during the course of the year. My Portfolio is self directed, and the brokerage makes it easy, selling FIFO, unless I specify otherwise, so most of my trades are long term. I also learned the hard way, about Nursing Homes, and how sleazy that industry is.

That's why I advise using an attorney familiar with Elder Law, and a CPA that works with the attorney, to protect your and your wife's interests as much as practicable. You are the best judge as to what sort of care your wife needs, but after dealing with Nursing Homes, and Assisted Living facilities both with my parents and the Mother in Law, I would avoid those places and their policies like they were the plague. Of course, there are times when you have no other choice. and only you can make that judgment. How is she doing, by the way?
Boris other than the Conrail stock I received when I left the RR our life insurance contact person asked us if we wanted to make some fast money. Of course we said yes so we bought some stocks that she suggested and made us $11,000.00 in a hurry. We sold some of it in 1998. When we received all the tax paperwork from the broker I realized I may be in over my head. So I have some experience but that was so long ago I'm not sure what I even did back in 1998. I'll have to bush up on it all again.

Yep! That's what determines which ads show up here. Maybe your wife was using your computer to shop?

I’ve not been anywhere sketchy. Mostly modeling sites or music sites or house building sites. Not been on the computer much lately except to research some stuff for the house or to pay bills.

wife doesn’t use my computer. (It’s in my basement office). Plus she needs help to buy stuff online anyway.

I’ve been getting swim suit or underwear or similar sorts of ads on this and other sites for, like, since forever. But they’re usually from Macy’s or JC Penny or one of those purposeful clothing sites. Like they are the default ad for someone without any history. The strange thing, besides the pic that looks trans, is that it is from Alibaba and is labeled “car parts and accessories” or something like that.

Good morning, Everybody!

Ads, I just ignore them most of the time.

I have an 11:30 appointment at the vet. They need to check Tuckers blood work. His heart medicines can be harmful to the kidneys. Otherwise, Tucker is doing well. As directed, we decreased one of his medications. I worry we may have to increase it again. He has been couching occasionally. But his resting/sleeping respiration has been good.

At 3:00pm I have an appointment at Walmart to get two tires put on my Equinox. I hope it goes as quickly as the first time.

I went with this tire made by Cooper. Treadwear rating of 520, Traction A and Temperature A and a price of $87 sold me

For some reason, our 2020 Equinox wears rear tires faster than the front. I rotated the OE Bridgestone tires and only got 40,000 miles out of the set of four. I did not rotate the BF Goodrich replacement tires and got 46,000+ on the rear. The front tires are wearing perfectly and still have 7/32" tread left. I had it checked at the dealer, they said everyhting is ok. Everything feels ok driving. I don't know, it is what it is.

Now I must get ready to hit the road.

Have a wonderful day Everybody!

God Bless Us Everyone.

Tony Bennett.

“For my money, Tony Bennett is the best singer in the business,” no less than Frank Sinatra told “Life” magazine in 1965. “He moves me. He’s the singer who gets across what the composer has in mind, and probably a little more.”

If you're using the Equinox for your Amazon deliveries, it could be the "stuff" in the back is splaying the rear wheels out, causing the wear.

Well, howdy there internet peeps that those named Fred or Olsen,

It's Troy again.

One downside to owning a Condo is the stuff we the "homeowner" have to replace despite us not outright owning the structure. The first year here, we replaced the windows. Top-notch product and installation company. And pricey.

They wanted $8,000ish to replace the French doors that serve as our "front" door. Really, those doors head out toward the pool and the walking trails. We get all deliveries and guests through the patio door, since that faces the drive/parking.

Well, there's an independent installer, a one-man operation who pulls in a helper for the 2nd story work.

His price two years after the first quote, was $3600. The only downside is that we have to switch from an outswing to an inswing door. Since we're in one of the smaller units, that matters.

And, since these condos were built in the 1970s, we need the French doors to move furniture in or out. the "back" door is only 32 inches. It would make more sense to change the front door to a dual side-light, 36 inch single door. But the HOA is being an HOA... everything must look alike! No DEVIATION!

The wife loves the walking trails, and how the grounds are well-kept. Even if she grumps about the community fees.

So, I'm out to get a new door handle. I replaced the deadbolt lock a few weeks ago, and forgot to get a handle. The potential future son-in-law works for Schlage, so that's the brand to purchase. I better get a handle to match the brown lock.
