Looks good to me. But then any pizza does. It’s great you can eat pizza whenever you or the wife wants. My diabetes says no but once every couple months I’ll ignore the advice. Growing up in Chicago and then the suburb we had great pizza choices but not until going to Numerous Uno downtown while in College did I try a deep dish. Give me a thin Chicago style but not a cracker crust and I’m in heaven

I would eat pizza three times a week if my doctor would let my and my wallet could afford it. As it is, I do eat it once a week. Twice, if you count the leftovers.

There's nothing like an Imo's Pizza with pepperoni, sausage, bacon, and ham on that thin crunchy crust. Love 'em. I'm having one tonight.

Afternoon folks, just finishing up my lunchbreak. Its currently 69 and sunny.

I too have AdBlock Plus on my laptop, mainly got it to do away with the non-stop bombardment of ads while watching Youtube. I swear it has gotten so bad within the past 5 years. I'm not watching 20 seconds of ads for a 30 second video

I started buying track for my switching layout, ended up going with Atlas and buying it off Amazon since the Atlas site always seem to have their track backordered. I did score a really nice Railmaster 2400 controller that will power it all.

Tomorrow we'll be heading to a funeral for a close family friend to lost their fight with ASL. He was a character and it was a damn shame it happened to him. Had an aunt who passed from ASL too several years back. It's something that no one wants to deal with.:(

Have a good rest of your day, and take advantage of it.

Good afternoon folks, 45 and cloudy here, supposed to be cooler this weekend.
On the topic of Chicago style pizza, my wife and I both love Aurelio's. We found out after we were married that when we were in High School both our families would go to the Tuesday Night special at the same place, but we never knew each other then.
@troyphoto I love the Chaos Stapuft men! "If you're not having fun, you're playing the wrong game."

Yea! As a borderline type II diabetic there is no way that I could eat pizza as often as Troy. It would send me over the line for sure. I would love to though. Meat Lovers Special for me.

I have seen flue fires. It looked like a jet engine blasting out of the chimney cap.
Fortunately that has never happened to me. I've been heating with this same wood-burning stove for 46 years now and I have been religious about sweeping the chimney. But it's days are numbered, not from wearing out, but from the wood cutting/splitting which seems to take me a lot longer to do each year.

don't the have automatic splitters now to help with that

Evening all,

Busy day as I helped the Mrs. get her new CPAP some smallish laundry loads and Culver's for lunch. Had the Grilled Chicken club. Good sandwich. Wife asked my why I got that instead of the grilled only like she did. I told her my bacon quotient was low...

Had meatball subs for dinner.

DeaconKC: Forgot to thank you for the prayers for my uncle and family. Both he and dad died of undiscovered forms of dementia. Shows to go you that when it's your time, it's your time.

And in a surprise 20 minutes:

Rain gauge says over an inch, but I doubt it.

And it's sideways...

It is funny how easily I get distracted while working on an item.
I was repairing a couple pieces of the STUBBORN MULE GAP PHARMACY that came unglued during the Holiday show. One of the 1/2" dowell pieces used for a pylon was missing. I had originally cut extra pieces and had seen them in a box on my work bench in the basement. As normal, I had to move things around as I searched for the extra pieces.
I ran across the vehicles I recently purchased from a forum member. I put the vehicles on a shelf and dropped the empty box under the layout.
A couple boxes later I found several old resin vehicles from a purchase a year ago. As I added them to the self, two vehicles had missing wheels which were still in the box. No glue on the layout so the vehicles went into my pocket Further searching turned up no extra pylons but I did find the original dowell and cut another pylon.
Back upstairs and reglued the pharmacy front sign, back steps, a front porch figure, a loose roof panel and the errant pylon. The vehicles acquired 4 wheels each and are ready to join the other shelf queens. Once again, I managed to stretch a 10 minute chore into a 2-1/2 hour experience.
The rest of today was spent watching the glue dry.
And so ends another thrilling day in my life.

Morning ladies and gents

Off to the model train store today and then to do some cold-weather hiking and birding.

At the shop, I’ll be looking for a short Union Pacific locomotive and some scenery, terrain items.

Never know what I’ll see at these nature preserves out in the middle of nowhere.

My other hobbies include camping in my old (2003) 23’ Class C RV and birding. But It’s too cold right now to break out the camper. I’m also a recreational shooter and used to shoot trap and shoot in bullseye (now called precision pistol) matches… but now I only occasionally shoot holes in paper or at steel targets when one of my adult children want to go.

I use my camera with digital zoom, a bird book, and the Merlin bird app on my phone to help me ID birds. Started this hobby about 20:years ago with my now-deceased father-in-law. He was a special man and special friend… an accomplished birder. I have just under 500:species on my list… it’s a great hobby and keeps me outdoors and hiking!

Enjoy your Saturday, everyone and count your blessings

Edit: Bird below is a Brown Thrasher. Took this pic in my backyard a few years ago

Good morning.
32° and flurries here in western PA and a high of 36 this afternoon, which would be nice for a change. Will go later to wash the salt off the p/u as the sub-freezing temps will be back tomorrow and the rest of the week.

KB02 with his caboose thread
has me interested in digging out an old boose that's been shoved all the way to the back of my yard. To be honest I don't remember what road it is as it's been sitting collecting dust (natural weathering) for over a year.
It should be fun getting it out because I have a dead-end yard and have to move a lot of cars to get to it.
That should take an hour or two 👍😉😄

Have a nice weekend everyone!
