Knowing you are a Packer fan I understand completely. For me it was an ugly game to watch because Dallas played so poorly. You aren’t wrong on your analysis except on your point of view. From our end it was a beautiful game to watch
I don't even like to watch the Ravens, my home team, blow out another team. All I was hoping for was a close game. Usually, I would turn off a game like that. I was so impressed with Green Bay's play I kept watching. Their young quarterback, Jordan Love and running back, Aaron Jones impressed me the most. The Packer's offensive line and the receivers were impressive too! I watched it almost to the end.
Once Dallas' defense was exhausted the game was over. The Packers showed mercy, they could have really run the score up, I admired that.
It's one thing for a veteran quarterback to read the field so quickly. I don't expect a young quarterback, like Jordan Love to do that, and he shows courage in the pocket. To top it off he changes arm angles to create a passing lane. Then he throws pinpoint accurate passes almost every time! Dallas had a good pass rush early in the game, but Love frustrated them by releasing his passes so quickly. He looks like an MVP candidate to me.
Aaron Jones and the Packer's offensive line worked almost perfectly together. The Packers' offensive line used a variety of blocking schemes, not an easy thing to do, to exploit Dallas' overzealous front seven. Jones showed great vision and exploded through the holes. Dallas's gap control was poor at best. Every time they failed to cover a gap Jones found it.
The Packers' receivers all ran precision routes and frustrated Dallas' secondary. As a group the Packers have one of the best rosters of receivers in the NFL and they played like it yesterday.
The Packers' defense played a fantastic first half. I give them credit for catching two of the balls Dak threw to them. They could have had a few more interceptions, but if defenders had skillful hands, they would be receivers. It's hard to praise a defense that gave up 500 yards, but much of that was after they started playing "bend don't break" defense which was the smart thing to do.
Even though I don't like blowouts, this game was something to see. The Packers played the closest thing to a perfect game I've seen all year. Apart from special teams, but that's just nitpicking. The special teams' mistakes were not game changing. The ugly part was watching Dallas play one of the worst games I've seen all year.
Congratulations to the Packers and their fans! I can't wait to see their next game.
