My grandson Ayden loves Ramen noodles!Back in early 2020, I purchased several multi-packs of ramen noodles, with the thought if my wife and I got a bout of covid, they would be easy to make, and help keep us hydrated.
Today, almost 4 years later, I am eating the last pack of ramen noodles for lunch.
R2D1.5?Since this one looks like a droid... I'm wondering if I should go get large googely eyes for it. Let it stare at the wife when she sits in her TV watching chair?

Batten down the hatches, this front has some wind behind it!!FWIW: The "Front" just passed through. Little flurry, gusty wind, and now the fun begins.
Yep! We had 30 mph winds from the north that dropped the temperature by 48° in just a few hours. Looks like we missed snow today by maybe 15 miles to the north, and some in Dallas 60 miles to the southeast. That snow may have brushed by Patrick on it's way east.Batten down the hatches, this front has some wind behind it!!
Actually the game had to be moved because of the NY governor’s decision. The NFL was not consultedYou are correct sir!
I was looking at the NFL schedule and did not notice both the Pittsburgh @ Buffalo game and Tampa Bay @ Philadelphia are on the 15th!
That does make it easier to decide what game to watch.
Those greedy bastards are milking another day of TV money!
Nope stayed at 68The answer is YES !
Or, bring out the blankets, warm jackets, and hot chocolate!
Patrick? Who's Patrick?Yep! We had 30 mph winds from the north that dropped the temperature by 48° in just a few hours. Looks like we missed snow today by maybe 15 miles to the north, and some in Dallas 60 miles to the southeast. That snow may have brushed by Patrick on it's way east.
We already have sub-zero temperatures thanks. Dawn is not impressed with the 'gifts'.Since were in a giving spirit, we have some sub-zero temperatures we can send you a little later.![]()
And I'm back!
DAVID: Just thought we'd share. And for the record, we've run out of F-degrees over here. Currently at Naught.
Been working on the layout design. Even the best laid plains, so to speak... A plan never survives first contact with the enemy...
Had to eliminate some cross-unders on the Quarry side of the layout. I expanded the broad elevated curve about as far as I could (it'll be a 17 to 18 inch radius) so I could get the returning end of the figure 8 to fit with a 15 inch radius curve inside of it. The only way to make the old plan work was switch to 3% and 4% grades to get the cross-unders to work out. I'm trying to stick to a 2% wherever possible, and not skimp on it.

I need to get some 2-inch and half-inch risers from the hobby store tomorrow. They didn't have 2" when I last checked. We'll see.
Oh, and I got a new humidifer. Fortunately, we have the whole-house one on the furnace. It gets my wife into the "mostly good" phase. But having one freestanding one on the main level bumps it up that she does better unless she goes outside for extended periods.
This one is evaporative instead of misting. Figure there is less to screw up that way. Just need to replace the pad on a regular basis. Since this one looks like a droid... I'm wondering if I should go get large googely eyes for it. Let it stare at the wife when she sits in her TV watching chair?
