She's rolling so fast the background is blurred! In fact, this is probably the fastest ol' 131 has ever gone under her own power.
Way to make the kids soft and dumb. When i was growing up in Poland, every kid walked to school; sun, rain, snow, freezing cold.Good morning, all!
Another copy of yesterday. More morning freezing drizzle. Schools have all cancelled again for today/ Kids get yet another 4-day weekend. They haven't been in school an entire week since before Christmas break. At this rate they will be going till the middle of June!
Have safe day everyone!
Ditto here when I was growing up in Brooklyn in the 50's.Way to make the kids soft and dumb. When i was growing up in Poland, every kid walked to school; sun, rain, snow, freezing cold.
We were at least able to take the bus as we were mostly rural until I hit HS, when we finally moved to town when we moved to Kansas. Walked my freshman year as the Junior high (7th, 8th and 9th) was 2 blocks away.Way to make the kids soft and dumb. When i was growing up in Poland, every kid walked to school; sun, rain, snow, freezing cold.
We rode the bus, but we had been known to push the bus on occasion and once helped our driver put chains on the rear tires!Way to make the kids soft and dumb. When i was growing up in Poland, every kid walked to school; sun, rain, snow, freezing cold.
And it was uphill both ways!Way to make the kids soft and dumb. When i was growing up in Poland, every kid walked to school; sun, rain, snow, freezing cold.
Oh, how times have changed! We rode the bus, but we had been known to push the bus on occasion and once helped our driver put chains on the rear tires!
Luck! I thought Ziply bought all of Frontier. That happened about 2 years ago here; after that you had to get rid of your rotary phone.Well, I'm off to do battle with Frontier Communications, and find out why they think I owe them money. Wish me luck.
Go get what's rightfully yours!!Well, I'm off to do battle with Frontier Communications, and find out why they think I owe them money. Wish me luck.
The same here. From the age of 4 to 16 it was at least a 30 minute walk to the schools I attended. Then walking to St Aiden's College, Durham University, then Queen's College, Oxford University. Not once was any closed because of the weather.Way to make the kids soft and dumb. When i was growing up in Poland, every kid walked to school; sun, rain, snow, freezing cold.
The funniest part is, i've heard this beforeAnd it was uphill both ways!
