Days Gone Bye!
WILLIE, Very sorry to hear that news., God's speed and healing to all the family!
Big dog plus sled can the dog be trained to pull the sled…mmm maybe that might be dangerous, and dog training might take up time you don’t have, buy the dog nice bones,so he has something to occupy him make sure he is not possessive and bites, buy a frisky teach the kids to throw it andd the dog fetch, better buy two sone dogs won’t hand them back but will chase the o thre or a ball that can teach the kids to throw ball help their baseball skills……stopping now before I dig myself a big hole,Good Morning!
Only -27F this fine morning, so the guessers were off a-bit in their predictions. Still cold enough where ice-fishing or sledding with 4 little kids is out of the question. I'll bet the wind blowing across the lake is a killer. -- Now I've got 4 kids and a big dog that I don't know how to release pent up energy with. This is going to be a nightmare. I can just see me playing 'house' and sipping imaginary tea for a couple of days.
I'm wishing I'd kept some big boxes in the basement, that they could build a fort with.
No photos for awhile; no hobby work for awhile. I only have time to be 'papa' for a month and 1/2.
Have a good one!
So sorry, glad you got to go see him though.Well, it was going to happen sooner or later. As I am heading out for the grocery trek, I got a phone call from sister #1, that my brother #3 passed away last night. As you might remember, he had inoperable stage four throat cancer and was in "in home hospice care" for the last four months. Thankfully I got to visit with him just ten days ago.
You got that right. The pastor at his Catholic Church has been visiting him about once a week for three or four months. He managed their day care complex and was an usher at Mass every week. In our family, we celebrate life, not mourn death. Looking forward to the wake.Willie maybe he's in a better place now.
George
Sorry for your loss Willie, at least he isn't suffering any more. I have 2 older and 1 younger brother, I can't imagine losing any of them. All the best to you and your family, sounds like there is a bunch of you.Well, it was going to happen sooner or later. That good it is looking positive for you at this point, most mergers or acquisitions don't turn out to be bidness as usual. So on the buyout:
• they expect it to close, barring issues, in Q1
• all stock incentives will vest and be paid in cash at that point
• this was not a merger to squeeze costs out etc. but to grow their business and they expect most of the company to come across. Business as usual.
• as it was just announced (and the deal just signed) there are still a ton of details to be worked out.
Looks to be a positive in the big picture.
I might try this out
Willie, I could not agree more. It is sad that the world has lost a man like that, but I believe you are doing the right thing to show gratitude that your family and his community was blessed to have him among you.You got that right. Great modelling, great sharing with kids, great knowing they are in the warmth and safe with youI have some of the grand kids over because they still don't have power at their own house. I should say, the future owners of the D&J Railroad.
Did some running trains and they wanted to put this train together to run.
