As most may recall Terry and I on Thursdays usually go out for breakfast and have done so since my retirement in 2014. I can happily say in those 14 years there were no Denny or IHOP stops.

That has changed. Last Thursday we hit a IHOP and it was planned as it was near a lighting gallery we just had to visit! It was ok just as Denny’s was this morning. Ok and that’s about it. Terry saw a Denny’s commercial on the local news this morning and said we should try to remember to try it. I said I go by it on the way to the LHS and I ‘m stopping at the LHS today. It might be another 12 years before we visit either again

Has anyone used the Metal Air colors from Vallejo? There will be lots of piping in the digester/recovery boiler complex of my friend’s paper mill build. They sound interesting. Almost 2.5 times as expensive as my Vallejo Air, Panzer Aces and Model Color paints. Looking for a quick review

Edit: I found a review on YouTube from Barbados Rex, a good reviewer who never stops talking

Good evening all. We are still in Italy. Our good ship, MSC Abidjan will (hopefully) have a full load of containers.. The cut off time is midnight tomorrow, then we sail to Northern Europe. There we will transfer to MSC Nerissa to the USA.

At the end of March we travel on MSC Sofia, then MSC Durban to Australia.

Tom. We are travelling in the 'Owner's Suites' on the ships.

David that reads like a great way to travel.

Good evening gang!

Wife "What do you want for your birthday"?

ME" I don't know"

Wife "How about an Amazon gift card?"

Me " That'll work!"

Wifey gave me an Big River Co gift card, so I went online shopping last Wednesday. The hotwire foam tool arrived Saturday out of NY. The static grass mahine and the 110v power supply arrived today. The main part came out Charlotte NC, the power supply out of Philadelphia. The foam tool via Amazon, the static grass machine and power supply were both delivered USPS. The recent snow didn't slow them down at all, in fact they were here earlier that predicted.

One thing about this, it has been the 1st time in years I got just what I wanted on my birthday. Ok, I did have to chip in about 25 bucks , but I'd rather do this than get an ugly sweater and a necktie! Wifey is happy, and I am happy! Remember guys, happy wife happy life!! :D

Be sure to let us know how the static grass applicator works when you get around to using it.

I bought one of the $30.00 China ones off EBay that uses the D cell batteries and it doesn't work that well on 4mm and above grass. Just not
powerful enough. 2mm stood up so-so.

My son has used the Dark Aluminum, Gold, and Gun Metal. He brushes it on, 2 coats, and it looks authentic. I'm sure with an airbrush the results would be as good if not better.

Well, Amazon amazon amazon... I pre-ordered a Kato EF57-1 and it had a lowest price guarantee on it. It went down to 6962 yen which is what they have to sell it to me for. The site shows it at 7744 yen with free delivery tomorrow. This model has been on sale since 27 Jan and I've seen it being sold on Amazon since then. So I waited and waited and saw that there were only 10 left in stock. So I got on chat with their robot and asked when it would ship. They told me that it would ship soon with an arrival of April. I asked that they change the delivery date and they said that they could not since it was shipping soon.

Well, I got notification just now that it has shipped and will arrive tomorrow. Funny thing that I noticed is that they no longer guarantee lowest price on anything else. I am wondering if they were waiting for me to cancel...

J@ck @$$e$ So sad.

Good morning all!

Pretty quiet in here overnight!

Woke up this morning to a dusting of snow that wasn't in the forecast at all yesterday. Currently 19F with an expected high of about
27F.

Usual stuff around the house today. Garbage/recycle bins have to go out this morning before 8am. I usually haul them out the night
before but we got home later than usual from the game.

No basketball game tonight so free night off to play with trains.

Not much else going on at the moment.

Have a safe day everyone!

Morning all,

Currently 31° with some high thin clouds. Supposed to get cloudier with a high of 49°. Temps have only dropped to below freezing in the past couple of hours as it was 33° when I got up at 4:30 this morning. Some possible light snow or rain overnight.

I was able to catch up on some things yesterday and get a couple of new projects started. Hopefully the day stays quiet.
