I'm waiting for Patrick to tell me what this great site he was on to get a copy of his DD-214 so I can't let others know and not go through with what I went through. Swal
Swal: it's been a couple of years already and I haven't needed to access it since. Once I submitted the online form, I got the free copies of my DD-214 in the mail. I will look and see if by chance I can locate it in my history, but I do tend to clean it up about every few months. And processes change as well. I have had to get 2 factor authentication on most of my accounts in the past couple of years, so my experience may not be the same if I tried it today.

I found one. Absolutely brand new condition, no marks or blemishes and it's right over in Paris, Kentucky. I got it for under $780 with tax and shipping included. No credit card fee! I could just about bust.

The other two I was looking at were $750 and $850 before tax, shipping, and credit card fees.

The dog running the house is absolutely true! This is who runs our house. Ryden let's us know when it's time for him to eat, when it's time for us to eat, what days a grilled cheese sandwich is for lunch, (he loves cheese) he's addicted to bananas and lets you know when it's time for one so you can share it with him, and cusses you out when you leave the house. But, I wouldn't trade him for the world.

Thanks! It's got the improvements Browning should have been doing 50 years ago.

After finding this last night I watched a bunch of videos on the SA-35, read a bunch of reviews without advertising, and checked out some forums with past posts on it. All good news except for some past extractor problems that have now been fixed.

This will go great in the cabinet with my Springfield Garrison Commander in high polish blue. I think the blue on the SA-35 is going to be better than the 1911. The Garrison doesn't look like the polish went past about a 400-500 grit, while the SA-35 looks like they took it to at least 800 grit.

Only took me the better part of the day after the eye doctor to find this SA-35.

Looks like he has a little Pyrenees in him. Our GP treats us like we're just a bunch of goats that need guarding.

Well, howdy there internet peeps and lounge lizards...

Made it to the hotel. Been here a few hours. Got our place on the shuttle bus to the cruise port tomorrow. That's 34$ plus tips.

Ordered a $20 burger and the wife had an edible Chicken and rice bowl. Our first meal of the day (well, I had yogurt for b-fast) since the little bag of pretzels on the 3 hour Chicago to Miami.

Speaking of Chi-town, looks like Indiana is about to get a 2nd NFL team. Hammond is technically in Indiana, but it counts as a "suburb" of greater Chicago. They just have to get the polytics to approve the stadium deal... oh joy. More stuff to pay for.

Oh, and the Hilton has signs up about not feeding the wildlife... do the critters in the photo count as "lounge-iguanas" (like a lounge lizard, but Florida-man style)?

The dog or cat?
