Wow.
I just browsed through several default pages of the Tubes of You, and, while I didn't do a physical count, at least 8 out of every 10 videos displayed were AI Slop. This was based on the thumbnail shown for the video.
I watched a YouTuber, motor cycle mechanic saying that this might be his last video on YT.
Seem AI scans YT videos collecting bits and pieces, then someone takes a similar video title and bang.....they have a YouTube video full of other folks stuff. He said some of his content had shown up in another AI generated video.
He said he took the time to just check out what he could do with AI. He said he came up with 10 videos, just juggling the same words around in the titles but making them just slightly different and they all had similar content but were just a little different from the others. 10 YouTube videos generated with similar titles and content stolen from other creators.

I saw an Ai generated vid were the word "wound" (referring to a flesh wound) was pronounced "wound" (as in the clock has been wound).
AI can't see the difference.......duh. I immediately clicked off the video. That crap really pi$$e$ me off.

Rant over for now.............John

Yeah I avoid the AI videos. Sometimes I’ll watch about 5 seconds and then comment about “oh, more AI slop with hard to listen to voice, bye” in the hopes the “creator” gets the hint if they once did it without AI. If they’ve been AI from the git-go then there is no hope.

I do a lot of history type video watching over meals and a lot of the history AI slop makes up the history too. It’s amazing.

@kbkchooch I took your advice and upgraded to LED headlights in my 2020 Equinox. You were right, the difference is amazing!

I hope they outlast the OE 9012 bulbs. I've lost count of how many OE bulbs I have gone through. In fairness most of my driving is in the early morning hours before dawn. Thank God Chevy made replacing the headlights and easy task.

Howdy all, my back woke me up so here I am. Getting a CT scan Tuesday on it, then will set up an appointment with a neurosurgeon to see what needs to be done.
It's 55F here and dark! Supposed to be sunny later today and hit 77F.
Found a N scale steam locomotive on Fleabay, a MicroAce 2-8-4 called the D62. I've got a couple other MicroAce locos and they are good runners, comparable to Katos.
Watched one of the best basketball games I have seen in years last night, Arkansas v Alabama, back and forth, two Overtimes with Alabama winning by one point at the buzzer when Arkansas missed it's final shot.

Well, howdy there internet peeps and those old enough to not care anymore,

It's Troy again.

One hour until we head out to "leaving... on a ✈️"

The cat knows something is up. He was extra snuggly last night.

House is cleaned. Pet sitter is primed. Cat water fountains had to be extra cleaned. The instructions didn't say to break down the collar with the silicone sleeve that joins the gooseneck spout to the pump. Guess where I noticed mold on both fountains?

Now I know to clean there at least monthly (I've had these since November). but, both fountains got bleached, then vinegared with rinses between.

Trip to Miami then tomorrow we board the NCL Getaway. Our trip will be in the eastern Caribbean, so far away from David and Dawn's voyage.

I'll have limited internet minutes, but hopefully can use my cell data when we're docked at US Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. If so, I'll try to post a couple of updates next week.

Once we sail on Friday evening, you won't see much of me until March.

Several times when I saw somebody obviously under-age waiting in line with alcohol, I'd start carding everybody. Usually the kid would figure it out and step out of line so he didn't get caught.
I'd prefer the kid get caught to learn the lesson vice having pure, good natured, law abiding citizens such as myself, have to do extra. And for the kid being stoopid. You don't go to the regular store to get booze, you go to the shop owned by an immigrant that barely speaks English, who doesn't give a sh!t and get booze no questions asked. (friend told me...) haha

Good Morning All!

27F @ 78% with new white.

Made an executive decision yesterday - chose not to make the trip. Maria was purring pretty good and when she got up, asked 'did you make an executive decision?' She was fine with it. Snow plows were out in abundance as it was pretty mucky. No idea of what the roads were like going and coming. Have about 6" on ground, will wait another hour or so and decide if today is the day.

Good day all. Just a quick update as the internet is more down than up. Probably not post again for a little while
The sea and weather are not kind, but we have travelled in much worse conditions.

Whatever the weather we are enjoying our journey.
Our Captain tells us that there are four other Company ships up to twelve miles behind us; all going to different destinations.

Troy. Have a good holiday.

We used to just go find a bum and get them to buy whatever. Boy, that has been years! One that I happened to find was also taking apart old pin-balls - real pin balls - no flippers for the most part and recycling the copper. He was getting pennies on the dollar, so using my work money, ended up with 5 of the things on the real cheap of which I rebuilt and played with. Did get a few flipper machines too. You should have seen Mom's expression when she found them in the basement. Well, she did not say much after she originally found a 'puck bowling machine'. Head scratcher for both Mom and Dad wondering how I got the thing downstairs - 7 foot lane with backbox. Sure would like to find a few of those 60's/70's machines - Royal Guardsman, Sing Along and Silverball. Currently have a F14 Tomcat which got rebuilt.
