I see there's a NY EZPass scam going on. You get a text message saying you owe for unpaid tolls and if not paid buy a certain date NY will void your car registration. I went online to check out my account and found nothing wrong. I then called EZPass and before I even had a chance to talk to anyone there was a massage saying whatever you do don't click on the link. It's a scam to get into your bank account. Beware if you receive this message.

Yup, I got one a couple of days ago. It is modified to look like whatever state you live in…

The Toll Roads Notice of Toll Evasion: You have an unpaid toll bill on your account. To avoid late fees, pay within 12 hours or the late fees will be increased and reported to the DMV.

Latest scam I've also seen is the Home Warranty scam. Comes as a text to my phone with the wife's name.

Scare tactic on how much you'd be stuck paying as your home warranty expired. Click the link below and get the back payments up to speed.

Never had a home warranty and will never have one.

The 63 country code says it's a number from the Philippines. Every time I've driven on a toll road, I have to contact them to pay. If you don't and they send you a bill in the mail, there is a convenience fee for the privilege of getting a bill in the mail billing you.

The FBI says it's a scam. Don't pay it, and don't click the link in the text. It's probably worse if you regularly use toll roads and pay your bill this way. That's what the scammers are hoping for.

We had the same going on in Massachusetts recently.
 
well, the only place in town to find RUBs (not that kind, get your mind out of the gutter) as in Really Useful Boxes is Hobby Lobby. So I went there today, needing one more for my little toy soldiers.

And I walked out with some new wall decor

yeah I moved to Mass when I was 10 and we used our own well for water. This concept of water rights doesn't exist in the East. It's pretty much a thing in the West only. I'm not sure how it came to be but I'd guess it's development mirrors that for mineral rights.

Cant believe its the last day of February already. Time is screaming by!

Currently 35F but it feels like8F. Tells you how windy it is outside. Should hit 50F.

Not sure what today will bring, so we shall see.

- iam in home office but i guess airport is up and running ;)
- made payment for another engine today...
- tomorrow my gf is flying to marakesh for a week of yoga
- iam Tournament Director at our course tomorrow. weather should be good.
- sunday? probably in my trainroom creating some videos and some bushes woohoo.

here is another picture from my small diorama. iam not really happy how the lines turned out, but iam going from here. weathering still has to be added.
