Chad or Troy, have either one of you or anyone else, played Avalon Hill's Magic Realm?
nope.
Once I was in a system, it was easier to stay in that system.
That's one of the many reasons I'm selling off so much of my old gaming stuff - why keep what I'm unlikely to play? (That and the itch to buy more locos)

This is a common affliction that we all struggle with. For some it is more than an itch, it's a rash!!

More like an addiction! A very powerful one!

Welp, Lionel and the AML gang have issued a "Learning Opportunity and Apologies" podcast.
Listening now... interesting mea culpa. Doesn't make me want to listen to them. Not because of the Lucy thing, but Lionel's personality as an interviewer was grating the way he constantly interrupted his guests, usually for a stupid joke or quip.

Afternoon all,
Busy day as we're starting to roll out Office365 tot the masses. Started first with City Hall, we'll see where it goes. Then the boss hits me with a "How's this other project going?" I need to contact the vendor, and he has nothing on the vendor as finance bought the program and needs IT to fix it with finance getting between me and the vendor. I finally got a name and sent the email on who I am and what I need. Now waiting on the vendor for further instructions.
Troy (and other curious members): The finger will be fine. I have a small chunk taken out that will heal fine. it's between the last 2 joints on the outside edge. One of those finger cuts that makes one think they're going to die, but No loss of use expected. I am on an antibiotic and the finger is splinted so it can heal without being pulled open when I wiggle my finger and protects the area a bit. Change the bandage, add Neosporin and re-splint twice a day. Called my Dr this morning and I had my last tetanus shot 42 months ago, so no shot for me. I will say it's hard to type, but I can point at people!

Too bad it's not your middle finger, you'd have a deniable excuse to give the one-finger salute to people.
You wait for one Steam Train, and then.. #steamtrain The Bash Mash

And as it turned out, I had it right and the vendor had it wrong. I had it right last week!
Damn I'm getting old.

Got some knights finished and off my painting table! Not my best work, but I'm trying to move them up and out.

I’ve not. I remember seeing it but even though I was heavily into AH war games at the time I was invested in AD&D and so didn’t look.
Good evening. 23° and clear with moon light. Winds are calm. Another round of snow is expected tomorrow evening. If my tax forms are all in, the next couple will be perfect for getting the tax filing burden completed. Nothing else to report.
The NY boat show at the NY fairgrounds in Syracuse is this weekend. It starts Thursday. They have been giving a booth to our antique boat club for years to do a display. Moved my boats and motors in this afternoon and evening. Pictures to follow

Good morning. It's 65 and mostly clear.
Good afternoon all. Another cold day. Snow forecast later in the week.
A coffee on the go please, Flo.
Just back from a morning at the hospital. More scans taken.
Oldest grandson visiting after school.
Good morning all!
Currently 20F heading up to around 34F.
Have a volleyball game tonight. It us being moved from Wednesday PM to tonight due to the impending winter
storm marching across the country. Looks like our area is looking at 6-8". Its a home game, so no travel tonight.
Not much else going on in my world which is welcome.
Have a safe day everyone!
Good Morning All!
0.2F @ 50%. Few more days of this then maybe Spring trends?
Welp, had the fixen's I did for the SB last night.
They were yummy and disappeared pretty quick. We didn't roll the Sushi this time. Meat clockwise - Vension summer, store bought summer, ham, then Gouda, Havarti, Provolone and generic Cheddar in the middle. The Chicken things came out sort hard, but still good. Pretty much took a nap after polishing it all off, Maria too.
Today is 'keep the house warm' day. Almost out of wood for the cook stove so ima gonna piece together 1x4" scraps with the air nailer into 3x4" chuncks about 15" long along with some plywood chunks from the helix base cutting. Should get us through until next week. Saturday to be 33F Day, 27F night with warming trend after that; so pellet stoves will keep up with that.
For those who need - keep warm!

Good morning gang!
28° with snow in the forecast for this afternoon. Probably a slow day in the shop.
I'll be lurking, coffee cup in hand!

Well howdy there internet peeps, and those who read datelines on press releases cited by news stories!
It's Troy again.
Had a weird night of rest. Was awake but kind of dozing from 12:30-2a. Then slept in til 6:30.
I'm up now. Cat was pissed. It was waaaaay past time for me to turn on the red dot machine (looks like a bowling pin, with a motordriven red dot laser that bounces around for 10 minutes at a time). He kept YOWLING! and YOWLING then running downstairs. I didn't even have my cup of yogurt open nor the coffee brewed yet.
I chased him down into the basement and shut the door. It was only a symbolic victory, since there's a cat flap in the wooden door.
Wife finally had enough of her whole-30 diet yesterday. We went to the Italian place (with the yummy soft breadsticks). She's got leftover for lunch today.
Got to get to the grocery again. Looks like we're about to get weather again, so we're planning on trying Cast Iron deep dish pizza at home tomorrow evening.
