This is an interesting layout in the round.
Eine sehr clevere, einzigartige Idee!

Are you settling into your new house? Don't work too hard. I worry for you. My health has never recovered from our move in late 2017, but it has stabilized. I tried to do too much too fast. I should add my health was already compromised in several ways before the move. I only worsened everything.

Willie: Photos of TNMRC layout pretty cool, but reminded me that there are NO Whataburgers in Wyoming...
Still got most of my teeth except wisdom teeth. Had them out about 20 years ago. Top ones came out ok but both bottoms had to hammered and chiseled out. Had general anesthesia; took me a couple of months to get over it, but never realized how much pain they caused until they were out and didn't hurt any more. No dentures or implants yet.

The English are very particular about their tea.

One of my ex-girlfriends was from Bristol. I still remember her method for making tea.

Bring fresh water to a boil, wait 10 seconds, no longer after removing the kettle from the stove.
Pour a small amount of hot water into the teapot to warm it, then discard the water.
Use 1 heaping teaspoon of loose tea leaves per cup of water.
Place the loose tea leaves directly into the teapot.
Pour the hot water over the tea leaves.
Let it steep for 5 minutes, no more, no less!
Slowly pour the tea so that the leaves remain in the pot.
No sugar, no milk, just strong tea!

By the time she had her first cup of tea I was on my second cup of instant coffee. With sugar and cream, thank you.

She was a beautiful lady, but she had too much shit with her for me! When I ended our relationship, she said, "I hope your Christmas Tree burns down" She knew how to cut me to the quick. She was as bitter as the tea she drank.

Earl Grey? Yuck.... One of the very few teas I just won't touch.

Yorkshire Tea is good, some of the Indian teas such as Assam even better, worth getting decent tea rather than supermarket own brand stuff and yes, water must be boiling hot!!

My family drink so much tea that whenever one of them dies, shares in tea manufacturers plummet....

She made a good cup of tea though. 🤪🤣

I'm looking for Keurig pods. I am too lazy to boil water. I don't use milk either. I guess, us 'Mericans are to unsophisticated to appreciate, the finer points of English culture.
Just remember that it was the WW2 GIs in the UK that got the Brits hooked on "instant" freeze dried coffee. They're trying to prevent you from the same mistake with that Kurig.

On a similar note, get yourself an electric kettle. The gooseneck ones are what I have. It REALLY does make a difference on tea flavor. And I still use tea bags. Because, you know, Muricah!

On a modelling note, I find that I've gotten too many "little" toy soldiers piling up again. And I'm supposed to be running the "slow-grow league" at the game store. I'm gonna have to build fast to get up to next month's points in time.

Here's the current project:

It's not complete. Only about half built.

I'll finish the build tomorrow.

Tea
Lapsang Souchong
Assam
Darjeeling
Orange Pekoe
Russian Caravan

All the family know make a good cup of tea.
I like black tea, and orange pekoe. My wife introduced me to green tea. I still occasionally drink it, but not often.
I do make tea using the Keurig and tea bags. I put the teabag where the pod should go, run the cup of hot water through the bag in that spot, then when it's done, pull out the bag and put it in the cup to let it finish steeping.
While it's not perfect, I can get one appliance to do the work of two, and it takes up less of my severely limited kitchen space.
