Having an intolerance to lactaid, I avoid milk. OTOH, while sinful, sacrilegious even, I would prefer killing the taste of tannins with scotch. (Using the cheaper blended labels, rather than Single Malt for mixing.
I thought about that, but, figured drywall mud is to easy to crack.
As it is, I was reminded of spreading crunchy peanut butter on the morning toast:
I'll give this overnight dry time, and then glue the square building together. More patch will be added as required:
I did add water to my mixture, to try and smooth it out a-bit. Don't seem to wanna smooth. So, it is what it is. I'm thinking a good coat of paint will lessen the grain. - Most CN 3rd class depot's I've seen were always stucco.
The left wall wasn't stuccoed yet, because there's still the warehouse addition to be attached. I wanted to be sure I had a wood glue surface.
Gluing the bay window to the stuccoed front is considered an experiment within the general experiment. It's all in fun!
I see there's a lot of news about the NYC trucker's strike. Back when I worked for the railroad a 100 PFE cars came into Oak Point yard every night. I don't even know if Oak Point and Hunts Point yards still exist. I guess not. Everything comes into NYC by truck now?

I didn't know Covid 19 restrictions were still in place? I visit my wife every day. She tells me there's nothing to do here except watch TV. I go to the front desk and ask are there any forms of entertainment here like Bingo, magic shows guitar players etc. The person tells me Covid 19 restrictions are still in place therefor we cannot bring anyone in to perform. I go back to my wife's room and explain. We live in New York one of the most screwed up states in the union. This is the reason I started taking down my train layout. I told her we should sell the house and move south as soon as possible.

Most Extended care facilities have perpetual Covid 19 Restrictions. More Risk Management than regulation. Some Assisted Living facilities around my part of Jersey periodically impose restrictions to discourage family visitation. Most activities were discontinued during the pandemic, and never reinstated. Saves the Facility money. Of course masking is back in hospitals and medical practices too. Some people actually miss having restrictions.
Started out the day raining at 52F. Finally the sky has cleared. Looking at the pool we received around 3" total. Today all I did in the train room was continue putting things away and some general cleaning. Tomorrow I'll take daughters car to be detailed since this morning was still raining.
Mara- Nice videos and photos.

Mac- Great series of photos.
Smudge- I love this type of train video.
Troy- I remember the cookie sales with daughter.
Bill- Nice photo.
TomO- Interesting looking reefers.
Guy- Great looking progress on the build.
Karl- When I get in a slump It usual 7-10 days and usually start with something small to motivate me.
Mike- That's funny.
Willie- Nice looking buildings.
Grizzled- I drank Navy coffee 21 years black but for some reason when I retired, I started drinking it with cream and a blue sugar pack.
Joe- I came across a company (eastern circuits) that has started making Pennsy PL signals complete ready for mounting. No idea of cost and they aren't on their website yet. I watched a video (youtube) from a train show. The downside is they can't be hooked to the power buss and require a DC power supply.
No I fully disagree. Some girls and women can be ok. But they can be a pain as well. It's not so much the gender, it's the manners and the way ppl act. Remember I'm one of those myself.
Good evening all. The granddaughters' have been busy with 'make-up' and making jewellery.. Now it is wind down before bed.
If the weather is good we shall go to the Aircraft & Transport Museum tomorrow.
She makes only the one. I'm so lucky, my wife is an Angel and will do anything or make any sacrifice for me.
Every Christmas she makes Hungarian stuffed cabbage. It has bay leaves in it, they make me ill. I refused to have her alter a long family tradition for me.
That is my sacrifice. I love everything in the stuffed cabbage, and it's cooked in sauerkraut, another of my favorites, but bay leaves ruin it all for me.
Louis - Your Mom's Goulash recipe is quite similar to mine, except I just use chopped tomatoes from the garden with the ground beef and macaroni. For variety, I'll sometimes top it with Cheddar cheese and bread crumbs.
I didn't see "sweetened" on the photo of the can that was posted. In that case I have to say I don't like sweetened milk in the can. I won't put that on cereal or anything else. My wife buys it for baking, something.
I heard that story too and believed it, until someone from inside Bellevue told me different. Sure enough, I took many of my OS/2 programs (.exe type no interface code like Presentation Manager or Windows just straight background batch type programs) and they ran on NT with no modifications (not even a recompile). I can't even do that between the various Linux platforms. And the cool thing is that no one has to "believe it" they can test it out for themselves.

Curt: Saw references in the latest PRR Modeler, (I think). Look interesting. I wasn't aware that they were DC powered. I'll have to check out their web site and watch more closely. Thanks for the heads up.
The one on the left likes 00 gauge diesels and 1-1 steam and diesel locomotives.
The one on the right has a 0 gauge battery driven garden layout with American rolling stock.
I researched enough about armour and swords to know this about Boob Armour
No boob armour is good.
Any shape that can deflect a blow towards the center of the chest is bad. Not so much for the piercing, but the percussion/pressure exerted over the heart.
