Maybe Willie can help me out with this. I was looking for some plano boogie woogie base lines when I came across this song by The Refreshments a unknow group to me. I don't know if this is country or what, but it has a beat you can dance to. You know of this band Willie. They say they been around for 20 years. The song 55 Ford is good one. I've never heard of it before.
This is a Swedish band that has been around for more than 30 years. I don't know much about the band but I have heard quite a bit of their music over the years. They mostly played old Rock & Roll covers for many years, they now augment it with some originals. Here is a link to their video/DVD of that concert from 2004. Can't link the video directly here.
Willie I think the 55 Ford song is from the group in Arizona. I don't think a Swedish group would be singing about a 55 Ford. Did you listen to it. It's a great song. I guess the song is alternative rock.
I also guess I've become an alternative rock guy now. I kind of like it.

Guy- You may not have the snow but you have lots of cold air you can keep up there. If there was a border wall for keeping back the cold air I'd help build it.
I dislike all the time taken before getting on them. It takes longer and longer as the years pass. Years ago I travelled to Malta. Within one hour of arriving at the airport I was on the plane.
Now I have to be at the airport nearly three hours before I see the thing.
And now that I had a few minutes waiting for paint to dry, I regauged the wheels and it's a runner! 15 minutes in both directions. Probably the longest it' ever been run.
I have about 6" of new white waiting for the relocation efforts to begin. The question will be how may yards of road mix are also relocated due to January's thaw and a very soft access road. Currently 25F and light snow. But beautiful.
Thanks Terry. Know it is not the smoke detector as I removed that battery. Do not have one that is low on any of the walls. Screech seems to be coming from above. Power has been off for 2 days now and the thing just won't give up. Will go out in a bit and do some more searching. Time will tell.
Flo, I'd like the number two lunch special please.
Grilled cheese sandwich with tomatoe soup.
Medium coke also.
Having a good day Flo?
There's a bounce in your step.

No, it's definitely from the Swedish group. It's track #8 in the concert link that I posted. I know that it seems strange, but most Europeans speak/sing better English than many North Americans. They play a lot of older American Rock & Roll tunes; they put out a whole CD of Chuck Berry songs in 2013. That Arizona group was actually pretty bad in my opinion.

You're right again Willie. The guy started speaking Swedish. How do you know all this? The people dancing in the video looked like they were from Arizona to me.

Started out the day sleeping in. After chores I headed to the train room spending about 3 hours there. I finished the wood part of the kit, shingled the 2 roofs but won't attach them until later. I also sprayed rattle can flat brown on a sheet of doors and window parts for the hydrocal walls.
Tom- They're tool users now.
Patrick- Congrats on the acquisition.
The open-end attaches to an end hydrocal wall. The 4 additional braces are to give the unit stability. I cut a hole in the "foundation for lighting.
Sherrel I've posted this video in the past but maybe you didn't see it. It's in the same locate of the bridge alley video but on the lower deck. It was also filmed before I installed the bridges on the upper deck. I was having my oil changed one day in a garage near the CSX tracks. I filmed a freight as it passed by and decided to use the sound track only for the Janesville Crossing video below. You can hear the flat wheels of the real freight as it passes over the grade crossing. It's my favorite video.

tonight's sipping is courtesy of the Engine 765 from Three Rivers Distilling Co (local to Fort Wayne IN). A nice smokey rye.$2 from each bottle goes to the local historical railroad society.
I have one, along with 6 covered cement hoppers, one coal hopper and a caboose, all lettered for the Maryland Midland. It is my small foray to the dark side.
