I understand, but he created a beer for Americans which turned out to be popular worldwide. Outside of Germany that is. But in 2025 Bud (they can't use the name Budweiser in Germany) has been reintroduced to the German market in supermarkets.

I like Budweiser 😁
I had a friend that was half Aussie and half Brit. He was a big beer drinker as you can imagine.

He said he liked Bud Light. He would drink that when visiting the U.S. I thought it strange.

Welp! the game with the tiny war dollies was fun. First trip with the new rules.

My Orcs going over to meet the new neighbors. Being orcs, they left the baked goods at home and started a fight with the dwarves.

The dwarves were being neighborly too, and charged their angry dwarves on equally angry badgers at another unit of orcs, and then the "Father" of the group went to give them a taste of his axe.

The angry badgers up the backside didn't let the orcs stick around long. This unit ended up with 37 wounds, when it could only withstand 17.

Technically I lost. But we had fun rolling dice!

Oh crud! Dwarves on badgers? I love this game and have never played it! Where are those minis found? I gotta get at least one for a Dwarf Cleric.

Good Evening All.
The final results are in, in the family fantasy football pool. My just turned 11 year old granddaughter won for the second year in a row. It's actually a three-peat but her father helped her in 2023. She beat both her parents, aunt & uncle, my two grandsons and my wife for a $60 prize. Daughter #2, her aunt took 2nd place and $20.
Go Charlotte Go!

Happy New Year to all on the forum.................

I watched a YouTube video on the 10 worst US brewed beers. It seems Bud, Busch, Coors and some others use about 30% rice in their brewing process along with corn and corn grits. Corona and Heineken were mentioned as "quick brew" beers. Pabst hasn't owned a brewery in 30 years and is made by some generic brewing company that brews several brands with different labels. Even some great craft beers have been bought out and are now "swill" still riding on the name when the beer was brewed right. Most young people today don't really even know what good beer, that is brewed right, is even supposed to taste like.
Much like tomatoes or strawberries that have not been GMOed to death. I would love to have an heirloom tomato. And I remember when strawberries were smaller, softer and had great flavor. You don't miss something you have never had.

Take care....John

I'm not posting links but I've been putting up one new Christmas song every day since the 2nd Day of Christmas -- trying to get one a day for the 12 Days of Christmas. You can see them in the "Videos" part of the channel page. The 2nd Day of Christmas was "Jingle All the Way" and works backwards to today (6th day though we're past midnight)
