Yeah, no kidding. I got interested in this game when it first came out. I have always been interested in this stuff. But then I started seeing how they deviated from actual facts, so I quickly lost interest. While I don't play anymore, I still watch Jingles and Yuro for the commentary.

I've been watching Grim Reapers with their War On The Sea series.

Greetings fellow humans ! TGIF and all that stuff!

Off work today, going foraging today. I have to go get the results of my latest eye exam, so I can carry that to the DMV to get my license renewed. Then I have to go get my old hot water heater and take it to the dump for recycling. And finally, I will go to a local business to inspect and evaluate a new pellet stove.

I was too heavily involved to just walk away when they started going to an arcade-style game. I still have over 1300 days of premium time remaining, and they keep giving me more.
I do like Jingles' dry commentary, we seem to share the same sense of humour.

Good morning prolific writing Crew. Today’s weathering report is si different then yesterday where it was single digits until mid afternoon. Right now at 6.08 it’s 15f degrees heading to maybe 30.

We were on campus for Regional action in the NCAA VB tournament yesterday. The poor Eastern Illinois team never knew what hit them in sets 1 and 2 yesterday. Wisconsin winning 25-11 and 25-6 with every player playing in the 3rd set it was 25-19 Wisconsin in 3 sets . Today the Badgers play the No. Carolina Tarheels and after watching the heels win yesterday the Badgers should be moving on to Austin next week. But they play the games for a reason…

The weathering of the Swing Bridge continues today. Here’s my bench yesterday

Good morning all. 15°F brisk degrees this morning and there is finally some frost on the ground that I haven't seen until today. Supposed to get to freezing today. We'll see. Still calling for snow of Sunday, but I won't believe it until I see it.

Running trains later this afternoon. Nothing else scheduled.

Have a safe day folks. Servus!

Sitting in a Tonkatsu place at Haneda airport. Just finished lunch. (Tonkatsu are the panko breaded pork cutlets). They start boarding in a hair under two hours.

San Jose used to have one of the largest Japan Towns in the country. After my dad retired from IBM, in the 1980's, he volunteered for the Asian Law Alliance down there as their IT admin. He spoke fluent Japanese which helped and was introduced to the best restaurants in the community for donburi, sushi, ramen, etc.

Your photo brought back great memories of having Katsudon for lunch with him. Santa Clara county had a HUGE Japanese population back then and the Oban festival, at the Japan Town temple and most of surrounding area, was an amazing cultural event for us.

I used to be fast, the fastest guy on my football and baseball team, but I never liked to run. If I'm not running somebody or a ball down or trying to pick up an extra base, I never saw the point.

Now I sometimes need a walker!
Running.....a never ending necessity in wrestling. I quit in college when there was a timed 3 mile run and when we finished I saw the other guys in my weight class still breathing out of their nose.

Stair climber and elevated treadmill are all the knee stress and cardio my body now needs. If the dog gets off the leash, screw it, I ain't running after her. I will go home and get the car to catch her.
