Did they build that in-place or hire a crane to hoist it up there? From the apparent size of the hand railings, that looks like it 20'+ tall.
I honestly can't say, I don't know.

I can say they had their own cranes and operators. Who spent most of their time in the break room watching TV waiting for a lift job. All they did was operate the cranes. No lifts, full day's pay $38/hour for some with full benefits. This was the 1990s.

Finished watching Heilige Nacht at the St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican. It was a wonderful Mass. I do wish the commentators would not have been there.

They were translating Latin and Italian to German. I would have preferred to just hear the Pope even if I couldn't understand all of it. I don't think I've ever seen that many people receive Communion at one time.

While you are looking at the "performance" of Chrome or Firefox, you should be more concerned with personal data collection of the two. Chrome is by far one of the worst offenders on the web in personal data collection. Firefox (which I still use on occasion) started out as "being a more private browser" but has declined in that area in the last several years.
I now use "Brave" as my browser and it works great. Rated with one other browser as the most private (not collecting personal data) on the web.
Each to their own here, I just don't care for data collectors selling my info for their monetary gain and I'm not going to make it easy for them.
Just my nickels worth....John
I have the same concerns as well. I don't google anything, including using their browser. I watch u-tube on duckplayer and it deletes everything when I exit.

Good evening everyone!

The last guests have finally left and its now time to sit and relish the silence! As much as I like hosting it, it is also nice to see the tail lights of the last ones to leave! We ended up with 31 people total. It was a great time with tons of food and family. Now the clean-up begins, but I think we will do the majority of it tomorrow morning. We ended up sending a lot of the left-overs home with folks as we have too much around here as it is.

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas eve.

Good morning, Everyone!

I'm awake early on this glorious, but quite Christmas morning. I'm sitting at my desk with my Family room Christmas Tree and LED Advent Wreath both shinning bright in the darkness before dawn.

I didn't manage to finish the family room Christmas trains, that is okay.

My wife worries if I have real candles burning when she is not around. The LED Advent Wreath solves that.

Enjoy this glorious Christmas morning. Be it humble or grand it is always a blessing, full of hope, thank God. I pray yours is also full of peace, love and joy.
