Is this an iPhone with lightning port?Well, my holidays are off to a great start. The charging port on my phone quit working this morning. I can still charge it inductively, but I can't transfer any files. Which is how I found out. And the warranty expired December 17th...
It's an iPhone 16 Pro with USB-C port.Is this an iPhone with lightning port?
Shut it down and get a flashlight and see if the port has lint in it. That’s been my problem a few times. Get a paper clip and bend straighter use an old SIM ejector tool to pull the pieces of lint out and it should be good.
I learned this trick once when my phone stopped charging and I took it to the Apple Store and the tech showed me what the problem really was.
sir I don't wanna know how or why you know what a duck haveing an orgasm sounds like. she must be getting it in the quackUmm...
They've been around a while, I've seen them on roads and streets, making deliveries. This afternoon, I heard a very strange sound, looked outside, and it was one of the electric Amazon delivery trucks. The sound I was hearing was its backup alarm.
It sounds like a duck having an orgasm.
Funny you should post that. I just read an article about iPhones not connecting or dropping from Car Play. What you suggested was one of the first things they recommended looking for.Is this an iPhone with lightning port?

Even though it's not a lightning connector, that was the first thing I checked. I've tried several cords, and all of them flop around loosely in the phone.Funny you should post that. try electrical contact cleaner or IPA on both the port and the cable. It's an iPhone 16 Pro with USB-C port.
I keep this stuff in my travel kit. Never needed, so I assume it's working as planned,.Well, the temp cap on my tooth just fell off while brushing. I'm debating on whether or not to go back to the dentist and get it redone. I may try putting my food in the blender instead.
Still worth a try to see if it’s full of lint. Those of use who carry our phones in our pockets tend to get lint in the portsIt's an iPhone 16 Pro with USB-C port.
I'm sure everthing will turn out ok tomorrow.Good evening folks, great day at church today. This afternoon was our kid's Christmas program and it went really well. Five year old Jack has three little girls wanting to be his girlfriend. The drama will unfold...
Thankfully LadyC is much improved, still has to have a CT scan tomorrow on her colon to make sure no bleeding or ulcers.
I'll be working the next three days and then the days following, so it will be a full week.
@Kusojiji pray the tooth isn't too much trouble.
Got the construction paper glued down on the Christmas layout, LadyC remarked we need some people and maybe another house! That's permission to go shopping, right?
That was the first thing I checked. I have several USB-C things, all of them are very loose. I can get some of them to make contact well enough it registers as connected on the phone, but as soon as I start to let go of whatever is plugged in, it disconnects. When I bought it, it was to replace an iPhone 14 Pro, the lightning port was also loose. It's frustrating, I seldom even use that connection, I charge wirelessly, and only plug the phone in to charge in the car.Still worth a try to see if it’s full of lint.
