MB Klein is closing their warehouse permanently.

Hopefully it is just temporary (if they got bought). They were one of the few places to have Japanese KATO stuff on a reasonable selection and price basis.

95% certain Hattons have purchased MB Klein. Cannot confirm 100% but reports say so here in the U.K.

I can confirm Hattons purchased Model Train Stuff in September of this year.

Hard to say no, but before politicians there were Kings, and tribal Chiefs that were put in place by heredity, and from History, there were more wars then than now, although less horrifying.

Pearl Harbor was caused by a Militaristic Theocracy that wanted to dominate the South of Asia...We were a successful and isolated country, more focused on domestic matters than foreign affairs, yet we were in their way. They thought they could shock us into capitulating, but instead they started something they couldn't stop...

December 7th. When I was young, it led the new broadcast every year. Now as each year passes it is mentioned later and later in the news at night, if at all. So sad that the news media yaps about the latest celebrity news before paying tribute to the fallen.

I can confirm Hattons purchased Model Train Stuff in September of this year.

It's starting to show. My last order was split, shipped from two locations, Cockeysville, and somewhere called Fremont Nebraska. I also notice their price point is now generally higher than Trainworld's. I guess we all knew that after Ted passed there would be changes. Hattons has a good reputation based on on line comments.

Morning -- Not going to say that it is a good one!
I lost a cousin a few days ago and her funeral will be held today.
I was planning on going, however, I was not looking forward to making the trip alone (due to my health concerns) and MOH decided that she would go as well even though she has been suffering with an extremely bad cold and cough not wanting me to go alone!
Yesterday morning she decided that she needed to medicate for her cough - went to the UC and came out with 9 prescriptions and pneumonia as an outcome ... very contagious she was told.

Now back to my cousin ... Jeanette was three years my junior and her father died in a truck accident when she was around 8-YO and her mother had a disastrous stroke which left her unable to care for herself about the time that she was graduating from HS.

Despite of all this, Jeanette plodded along ....
Jeanette graduated from LSUS with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, and Masters plus in Computer Science. She retired from Louisiana Technical College in Natchitoches,...

Forgive me, but I just wanted to acknowledge what the human spirit can accomplish when we apply ourselves.

The range tody is expected to be 46-66 f degrees - temps lately have been all over the place!

You're not whining! Your cousin did very well for herself, and apparently lived a good life. Our condolences.
I'm sorry that your OH came down with pneumonia. Colds can and do get out of hand. Hopefully, both of you will be well soon. Take care of yourselves.

One of my Holiday favs, Geoff Castelucci teamed up with the "American Sirens" for this one. His work with Voiceplay is where I first was exposed to his deep bass voice. Worth a Youtube search if I say so ,myself.

Welp...

I learned that pouring a cup of coffee while walking to my chair in a dimly lit basement leads to a wet sock, and a messy side table.

It's all clean now. Slipper and sock are positioned in front of the heater to dry. Foot is slightly chilled. I may have to move the heater closer to the wet foot.
