Good Morning All. Clear and 36 degrees here this morning, high today may be 52. Didn't spend any time in the train shed yesterday, between the grocery trek and outdoor work I was catching up on, there wasn't time. I'll try to make up for it today and tomorrow before temps climb into the 70's later this week.
Terry - My sentiments exactly, I actually had to do some mowing on the tractor yesterday. Also, thanks for the link.
борис циник - Hard to tell from the picture what kind of bird that is, but around here we have vultures with wingspans like that, 5'-6'. They roost on top of my barn quite regularly. Ironically, the wings are only good for soaring. They sometimes engorge themselves so much on roadkill that they cannot take off from the ground, and have to heave to lighten themselves. It's not pretty, but it is funny.
Chet - The light did indeed come on. I do not model steam, but love to look at and watch steam action. Those engines were works of art. Cool video. Santa Fe, and now BNSF (Big New Santa Fe), use a wye (formerly Dalton Jct, now Krum Jct,) that is near me located between Krum and Sanger TX, to turn steamers around that they bring to Ft. Worth for special occasions.
Garry - Nice looking rockwork supporting that nice looking engine.
new guy - You are going through the progression that we all made at some time or another. You're just starting with something larger than a 4' x 8' piece of plywood. Next thing up is that you will be asking about installing grabs and lift rings! I see that you have a location now! LOL
Curt - Been there, done that.
I still miss Tony (Wombat457). Someone here, I don't remember who, was going to try to call him. It's been over two weeks now.
Have a great day all.
Willie
