See what you did Phil !! You got the poor guy worried now ! banghead_125.gif

And I know just enough to to cause trouble. At my age, I should know to keep my mouth shut.
Sorry bout that CHESSIE.

Eric- I too am light sensitive. I was the only man in basic training that wore dark sunglasses. Sgt's wanted to know how I passed the eye exam.
Phil

yeah... been there. I made a point to not wear any and still won't. I figure it's just another thing to keep track of.
I always thought if it's something I can't get in "the field" then I shouldn't train with it. Guess that attitude is what put me in the "operator" class in SWC/SWG.

ERIC- Progressive MYOPIA . Needed glasses. Could have shot someone on rifle range. With glasses was hitting bulls eyes at 500 yards. Without glasses, couldn't see target. No joke.

Might be whats going on with me. I only have reading glasses for now. A long distance shot would not be problem today.
Last time I had friendly "shoot out" with a marked target, I put my first shot through the center cross-hairs on target. No one else came close that day. I won with one shot. One shot, one ki.... well you know.

Dang... right after I replied... "macular degeneration" comes to mind. My mother's mother has it. She about 95 years old but still sharp in the mind.

Good news for my wife and her mom. MIL gets out of the hospital and will be transported to a nursing home about 30 miles from here. It's amazing that they are in and out that quick after surgery. The doctor said she could get up and walk as soon as she came to, not feasible, but he said everything was strong enough to do it. Now the really hard part will begin.

WIN_20160121_072114.JPGI don't know much about much but I'm knowing this is B.S. That lil white thingy has 8, count em, eight, lil, TINY, teeny, weeny, itsy, bitsy, 'cables', made up of individual wires that cannot be seen by unaided human eyes in the condition mine are in!

Where they go after disappearing into the hole under the floor of the cab is better known elsewhere, I have no clue, the schematics provided show nothing of value in that regard. NOR does it clearly show how to change the cab that comes with it, obviously they think changing the cab may be something I want to do but there is nothing showing HOW this is done! SHEESH! This is getting to be a real drag.

LOL! The 2-10-2 derailed at one of my favorite (NOT!) atlas turnouts causing a short and it seems to have forgotten who it is again. Everybody else running at the time seems ok. I'll try the ritual sacrifice and dance routine, burn some incense and see what the entrails say. It worked last time but I guess it did not 'take'.

Shooting yousta be fun around here till some fool shot down the dang range tables at point blank range with a semi or full auto something cause it was a MESS last time I tried to go 'plinking' there! Dang idiots ruined a decent range! Last I looked ammo was too dear to be wasting on anything but meat anyways. I'm may end up selling most of my old "accessories" to cover my train addiction, targets and various fallderall, old guns, etc, left over from my 'outdoor' days. The way that stuff was priced at the gunshow makes it worth thinking about. Besides "The time comes I REALLY need one there will be plenty of them laying on the ground"! The SGM knew a thing or two.

Good to hear Bob.
I still wonder did she cross paths with my step-sis and her hubby.
Best wishes.
E.

I cannot help but wonder at why a message about purchasing more phone time showed up in my PM inbox when I own NO phone other than the landline to the house! errr? Thanks butt no thanks!

Bob ... Glad to hear the good news.

I'd report that to Bob, our administrator, don't think that should happen.

Sorry BigE, it's kind of hard to keep track of previous postings while on my Kindle and throw everything else in on top, well I hope you understand. She was in Memorial Hospital and was treated by an orthopedic surgeon. That's all that I know. I saw him after the surgery when he told us that it went well. He was quite a bit younger than me.............just not as good looking!:p:rolleyes::o

On the page with the PM, you should see toward the bottom one of those little triangle "caution" symbols. Click that, and it will lead you to a "report post" link. Put a brief description of what is going on, then click "report post".

I deleted it at the same time I was trying to report it. Scared myself how fast I got rid of it, it was like computer kung fu, I kinda lashed out and it was gone! I did not know I had skills like that!
