Dear Algerbra, Please stop asking us to find your X. She's never coming back and don't ask Y.

Weatherman is full of crap today. Was supposed to get to 32,,,,thermometer is stuck at 18. I guess the 37 they are predicting for tomorrow will either be 10, 23 or 48. My guess is as good as theirs!

Saw this earlier today,,,

Hen=lass=girl here Glasgow....as for weight...it depends.. lol

This story's a bit longer. Way back in NZ at the motor assembly plant I worked at, a young Scots guy started work. I asked him where about's he was living in town. He said Henbee. Eventually I had to ask an English bloke 'cause I couldn't understand him (which was mostly). Turned out to be a suburb called Herne Bay.

Regarding Espeefan's post asking how I wanted my chicken.............live, dead, plucked or dressed? When I was about six or seven years old we were going to get a new goose to replace the one that met its demise. Long story short, my dad had talked to a lady who raised geese and told her we wanted one and when could we pick it up? I still remember riding to her place and my dad going to get our new goose and my somewhat de facto pet. He came back empty handed and started laughing. Seems the lady thought we wanted one killed, cleaned and dressed, all ready to eat!

Good afternoon, And how are you Francine, just some of the flavored Herbal Tea and Honey.

Today is fairly nice with high scattered clouds but sunny. WW says its: 58.1 °F -Feels Like 58.1 °F, winds are from the South at 2.2 mph. Hum-i-dity is? WW not responding?

I didn't do much on the layout last night but did run some trains a bit.

You guys just don't know what your missing by not hand laying your rail and making your own switches. It sure seems require close attention to clearances. One curved turnout on the passing siding at the Horseshoe Meadow Depot seems to again require attention at the Frog area and I thought I had that corrected earlier? More fun Gandy Dancing.

Say Karl or anyone else that might know.
On a Saddle tank Loco with square tanks of each side of the boiler, where is the water filler cap/s located. I've tried to find the info on the net looking at pictures but nothing is clear enough to determine. Logically it should be placed in the center of the boiler but that would require two tubes running up over the boiler from each tank and a central filler cap to allow water to be taken on at any of the water tanks/towers as the down spouts were flexiable to reach a filler cap on top of each tank which would seem logical but un-useable?

Talk with you later.

The only pics on Google I could find were all British locos, on those (mostly GWR) each tank appears to have had it's own filler cap.

The spouts would have been flexible canvas hoses.

IN MEMORIAM - JEFFREY WIMBERLY

Good morning. It's 16 and sunny. Supposedly that won't last long, with clouds and rain moving in later.
Accuweather is suggesting we are going to be getting over a quarter inch of ice a bit later in the week. We'll see how that goes, and deal with it when we get there.

Good morning everyone!

18 in southeast Baltimore, the weather man says its 23 but my car and my outside thermometer both agree it's only 18.

Both of my NFL teams are finished now, the Redskins have long been done and the Ravens fell short in New England even though they played a great game. That Bill Belichick has to be one of the greatest coaches of all time. We had Brady rattled and then Belichick started calling quick short passes so the Ravens would not be knocking Brady around and that was all she wrote! Win or lose I am very proud of my Ravens!

There is always next year and the NBA Wizards are looking good despite a bit of a slump recently. Then my favorite, Baseball, soon little league with my grandsons and then the Orioles and Nationals, I bleed orange.

Have a great day everybody!
