Here's a westbound North Coast Limited climbing the 1.8 percent grade up Pipestone Pass, which is also known as Homestake Pass. It runs along I-90 over the Continental Divide into Butte, MT. Got a down grade shot for later.
Greetings from the Jersey Shore, where it's 27° and snowing.

Chet ... I snorted my coffee when I read that .. Too funny!
Ho-Hum winter type day around here. 50 degrees going to 69 with mostly cloudy skies and 70% chance of a shower sometime later on. Nothing really planned except to nurse my stomach back to normal. I've had a real bout with something this week. My two fur friends can't understand why I can't take them out!
I am off to MB Klein before I go pick up my grandsons at school.
Sirfoldalot I hope you feel better soon. I keep ginger ale on hand for stomach troubles. it has to have real ginger in it, the artificial stuff does not seem to help. It won't do much for a full blown stomach bug, but it does help when you begin to feel better.
Greetings and salvations gentlemen....
It's weekend! Hope that you'll all get a good one!

After topping the pass, here is the North Coast Limited going downgrade into Butte, MT.
Well, it's time to call it a day. Friday night bowling league again. Got up to 14 degrees this afternoon.
Happy trails.
Don't strain your bowling arm doing 12 oz. curls!

Of course not. I keep it limber by lifting Budweiser.

If everything is coming your way, stop driving into oncoming traffic.
If you have a 50-50 chance, 90% of the time you loose.
"What Day is it?" asked Pooh
"It's today." squeaked Piglit
"My favorite day." said Pooh.

Good evening,
Hi Flo & Francine, how are my two favorite waitresses? I just have some Herbal Caffeine free tea & Honey, thanks. Sure is different not having Jeffrey around anymore.
It was a bit cloudy but mild temperatures, WW says: 52.5 °F - Feels Like 52.5 °F. Winds are from the East at 3.7 mph., and the Hum-i-dity is 77%.
I ran some trains last night as well as getting window glazing put in the 1st. Old Time [OT] MDC Climax I had and it sure makes it look a lot better. I found that the Window glazing, Micro glaze does a very nice job once I got familiar with using it. I then ran some trains. In shuffling the Loco's and cars around I had a string of two OT gondolas, 4 flat cars and the OT Derick car, parked on the passing siding in front of the Horseshoe Meadow Depot [HSMD] with a little bit of room left over. I needed to move one of the Climaxes out of the way so I could run the work train with the Box Cab Diesel Track Cleaner by to clean the rail heads. So I before bringing the Work train up the grade I ran the OTClimax past the HSMD switch and backed it in and coupled onto the Gondola's and just slightly within the siding limit post. Then I brought up the Work Train and very cautiously eased it past the Climax and I mean just barely! I stopped the WT Side Door Caboose right at the point where the front beam is across the Climax and I don't think there is enough space to even squeeze a little guy sideways through there. It's probably about two scale feet at most. I took a shot of it but getting Photo Bucket to upload it is another thing even from my cell phone.
Talk with everyone later.
