As this is the 8th and final day, Happy Chanukana!

Forgive me for neglecting to say that the first time.

I got my Christmas Esskay Silver Label ham in the oven. My son has gone out to pick up the white Candles to put in the Advent Wreath Christmas Morning. Everything is going according to plan. Trains are running and the presents are wrapped!

Once again Merry Christmas Eve Everybody!

William I just read your post, thank you for the kind words.

You made me think of my youngest grandson. He is 5 years old and my daughter took him to see Santa. When he sat on Santa's lap this is what he said. "Poppy wants a train, Jameson (my other grandson) wants a Ninja Turtle sword and I want Donatello's stick". Donatello is one of the Ninja Turtles who carries a staff/stick for those who are not familiar with the teenage mutant Ninja Turtles.

How is that for the true spirit of Christmas?

I am so proud of my kind and considerate boys.

Thank you everyone for your Holiday wishes.

I can never say this too much; Merry Christmas Eve Everybody!

Good afternoon on this Christmas Eve December 24, 2014,

Hello Flo & Francine, Merry Christmas Eve to both of you! You never cease to amaze me as your always open for us model railroaders to gather. It's appreciated.

The weather here in Coarsegold is very cloudy but High clouds, chilly and damp. Per WW - 58.8 °F - Feels Like 58.8 °F, the wind is out of the ESE at 1.7 mph. Humidity is, ? WW site has no info. I guess it's about 80%

I hope everyone has a very Good Christmas and that Santa Brings you all the goodies you want. Trains - Health & Happiness!

Time to get back to working on getting the Horseshoe Meadow Depot completed enough for a Merry Christmas Pic or two.

Talk with you all later.

Hanukkah? Ham? Christmas?
I'll bet this is a very confusing time of year for you...

Hey Terry :)

I don't have to be Jewish to wish our brothers happy Chanukana :)

After all Jesus was a Jew.

Merry Christmas Eve.

Religion is like love and marriage , you can't have one without the other.
'Sides Jews have Chanuka bushes 'stead of trees.

Phil

Wish you all a very Merry Christmas...

Ring out, wild bells, to the wild sky,
The flying cloud, the frosty light;
The year is dying in the night;
Ring out, wild bells, and let him die.

Ring out the old, ring in the new,
Ring, happy bells, across the snow:
The year is going, let him go;
Ring out the false, ring in the true.

Ring out the grief that saps the mind,
For those that here we see no more,
Ring out the feud of rich and poor,
Ring in redress to all mankind.

Ring out a slowly dying cause,
And ancient forms of party strife;
Ring in the nobler modes of life,
With sweeter manners, purer laws.

Ring out the want, the care the sin,
The faithless coldness of the times;
Ring out, ring out my mournful rhymes,
But ring the fuller minstrel in.

Ring out false pride in place and blood,
The civic slander and the spite;
Ring in the love of truth and right,
Ring in the common love of good.

Ring out old shapes of foul disease,
Ring out the narrowing lust of gold;
Ring out the thousand wars of old,
Ring in the thousand years of peace.

Ring in the valiant man and free,
The larger heart, the kindlier hand;
Ring out the darkness of the land,
Ring in the Christ that is to be.

Good evening. We have a brief respite from the rain, but the wind is howling throughout central MD.

Finally got all my presents bought & wrapped. My daughter from California is here with her husband, and my other kids are here as well so the family's all together again for the next few days.

Haven't had much quality time for working on the layout because of all the Christmas-related activities. But I did run some of my old CSX stuff on the Four-County club holiday layout at the Westminster Mall. It's incredible to see how excited the kids get when they see these trains running! Will the enthusiasm still be there when they reach adolescence? Even if only 10% of them were to retain their interest in trains, I think the Hobby's future is quite bright.

Time for some shut-eye, its almost midnight. A MERRY CHRISTMAS to every one of you!
