Terry- It is probably one of your friends from the group trying to do you a good deed. If you don't want to offend them then when you talk to them say...by the way, with what has happened with my wife I will not be able to participate in activities any more.

Or if you don't talk to them anymore call the organization and ask to cancel your membership because your wife can't participate and your focus will be on her.

Your dilemma is easy in my mind (uh, oh) Tell them like it is. It's like the tire conversation we had, those other people are not perceiving your reality, so to speak.

Diplomatically tell them like it is, if they don't get it, more forcefully, but still politely tell them like it is. If they still don't get it, tell them "I don't have time to %#@! around, here is the bottom line...." Walk away. I think its easy.

In this hour people have to be understanding, if not why bother with those kind of people?

Terry, you really have too much going to worry about a "social" organization right now. Just let that go, and concentrate on your wife, and your self. Your wife, needs a coach, and booster to encourage her to keep trying during this difficult phase of recovery. You have the responsibility of providing for your family. You really don't have time to do much else, right now. let all the frivolous go for a while, and concentrate on what's important for you and yours. If others don't like it, too bad.

Morning All,

Have had breakfast and looked over the computer stuff I do every morning. Getting ready to leave the house to go pick up about 60' of buss wire (2- 30' lengths) at a local electrical supply store. I am the only one awake in the house right now. MOH, Son and animals are all sleeping.

It's a cool, rainy day. My wife has had a really long stretch at work and is still sleeping it off. I have trim work to do but somehow I think my air compressor and nail gun will wake her up! I may have no choice but the tool around in the train room. Yup, that's what I'll go do right now.

My stepson arrived at 1:45 this morning. He is currently at the rehab place with my wife.
A coworker that is also a supervisor has been trying his best to get me to quit for the past four years or more. Today, he nearly succeeded, in a very violent way. As you and he know, I've been living on coffee and little sleepmfor the past several days. Thiis morning, I headed to the coffee pot for a refill. He began screaming at me to get my lazy, worthless }#{^}>.£ back in my *+}{£~%} work area, and get my %#+#>~ back to work right this {}€~*<£!!! second! Only physical intervention by two other coworkers kept me from relieving myself of my position.
Other than that, it's just another day in paradise...

Good morning. It's 78° with 100% humidity. The high will be 90° with a fair chance of rain.

It's gray and wet here this morning. Been raining off and on for several hours now. My nephew got the Chevy G20 running long enough last night to move it out of the way. The fuel injector cleaner he'd been using wasn't cutting it. So I gave him a can of carburetor cleaner. His argument was that it's not for fuel injected engines. My counter argument was 'So what! It burns and that's what you need right now'. A few minutes later I heard the G20's engine fire up. Carburetor cleaner will also clean throttle bodies and injectors. Who's the dummy here? Today I think he's going to put a couple of cans of Sea Foam in the tank to get rid of any lingering water. No plans for today. I feel much better this morning than I did last night. Take it out and wear as you normally would. Old trick I learned in the army.

I currently have several wounds that are being tended. Any one of them could be the culprit. It's possible too that I may have a bone infection. That's going to be looked into next week. Right now my odds on bet is a large open wound on the side of my left foot. A surgical wound that ripped open. That too will be looked into. For now I'm keeping it clean and dressed. The salve I'm using on it is available the shelf and contains several antibiotics. I could post a photo but I have no desire to make the other members here toss their cookies.

Good evening. It's 80° with 83% humidity. The low will hit 68°, mostly cloudy with a 70% chance of showers and thunderstorm. My nephew was out working on the G20 again today which I greatly support especially considering he nearly had to carry me home last night. Saying my health is poor would be an understatement. I have several infections, under control at the moment, balance issues, and liver damage that still hasn't been identified. My energy level is very low. Just walking from my trailer to my next door neighbors trailer is an exhausting event. It also gets my heart rate way up.

I've already said too much about it and I'm certainly not looking forward to my morning email. As always, anybody who doesn't believe me is welcome to come look for themselves. I've had visitors from as far away as Seattle. For your own safety I just ask that you don't show up unannounced. My family can be very, very defensive if they think there's a threat to my safety.

Today my nephew got the G20 running enough to drive it. However it kept dying on him every thirty to fifty feet. It could be from some water in the gas or a bad fuel pump relay. I think tomorrow he'll replace the relay and see what difference that makes. Myself, I dislike working on computerized vehicles. My Century was so complex that it wasn't even funny. Any time I had to get the computer read I half expected to see the blue screen of death.

Time to call it a night. See y'all tomorrow.

Karl, I've given this guy 5 years' worth of rope. At some point, enough is enough. Everybody that know me also knows I am like a bear when I have not had enough sleep, or at least rest.

Today was another "monday", even not taking into account the initial peeing in my cornflakes episode.
My wife was able to climb three steps, and come back down them, with assistance, of course, but she did it.
Some of you may remember my coworker (the one with diabetes) that was having some issues with his foot. Day before yesterday, he had to go to the hospital, and they removed a toe. Hopefully, he'll be up and around, and back to work soon.

Terry - great to see that your wife is making progress! Sorry you had to deal with that d***head, but I'm glad things didn't escalate - now would be the worst possible time for you to lose your job.

Karl - being a little "promiscuous" again, I see!

In other family news: That guy who slammed into my son's car finally admitted to his insurance company that he was at fault, so hopefully now that UCAA has to pick up the tab, maybe my son can get more than just the straight bluebook value of his car - to cover things like the sales tax, tags, title, etc. I've never had the privilege of somebody else's insurance company paying for a totaled car of mine, so I'm not sure what to expect. At least he won't have to pay a deductible.

No railroading for me on Friday - it's SWMBO's birthday.
