LOL. "Family" always gets first crack at the merchandise! I'm adding in the rollers, reversing units and/or the track cleaning car because I will not be using them and it seems like a good deal throwing in "extras", paying for shipping is also something I figured would attract buyers. The Shark is a BLI also, they all are DCC and do run well, lights ,sound, all that. I only have one set of auto reversers, and two track cleaning cars. Buyers please tell me what you want for rollers and I'll put up a selection to choose from depending on what you need and what I have. They are all only a couple years old and priced at half of what I paid for them new.
"Das Boy" perked up quite a bit when I told him I was selling the loco's to buy a scooter so we can ride together, he was asking me where I go and I'd rather show him than tell him.

wow wee - 71 degrees -- Guess you are about ready to resort to the air conditioners for those temps?

Learned a little trick regarding putty. I know it slightly shrinks as it ages, plus its not the strongest thing in the world. All I use it for is filling VERY small holes now. For anything bigger than the tip of a ball point pen, I use JB Weld. Its stronger (heck, you can drill and tap it) and it wont shrink over time!

Good Morning All. 62° and mostly cloudy here this morning. The granddog leaves to go home this morning, so I will spend some time retrieving all of the firewood (kindling) that she yanked out of the pile and scattered about the yard. I'm sure that she misses my two grandsons tripping over her and falling on top of her as they beat each other over the head with their Star Wars "light sabres".
Got back into the modeling mode yesterday out in the train shed. Started cutting out and assembling another "low-relief" cardstock structure. It''s a warehouse from Clever Models. Looks to be a bit more complex than the last structure that I made. I am going to have to do some adjusting to enable it to fit where I want it. I need to make it 4 scale feet narrower, which shouldn't be all that difficult...scissors please!
Joe - Sounds like a good use of tax money.
Garry - Green train pictures looking good. I particularly like the NP shot.
Beady - Well you finally got rid of that dining room stuff. I remember you posting about it at least a year ago. You're going to have to try a lot harder than a signature to irritate me by the way.
Johnny - Terrible how life gets in the way of modeling. Even when it's stuff that you want to do.
That woodcraft stuff sounds interesting. You ought to post a picture or two when you have some. I used to have a LHS closer to me, only 25 miles away, that was also a discounter; but the owner retired about four months after I did. At least I stocked up for five years before the joyful day of retirement. It's not too bad going to the one that I use now, as it is located within five miles of all of my grandkids. Discount Model Railroads in Addison TX if you're ever in the neighborhood.

Well I wasn't expecting to get anything in the mail today. However my paint will be in today. My C&O decals will be here on Monday. Means no couch tumor this weekend. I thought I recognized this from the Lima Locomotive works reading I did a few days ago. Very interesting loco. I think this was at the tail end of their life away from steamers.

Good morning. I just finished breakfast, waiting for the rain to start. Thinking about all the things I need to do, but keep pushing off. This includes house stuff, yard work, and the layout.
Last night, I watched some of the NCAA basketball games, then went down to the train room and ran the layout a bit. I was very happy with the way the operation worked out. Still doing research on the large textile mill project. Once the weather eases, and I can paint outside, things will start moving along.
The rig in this old photo, was loaded on a B&O RR Flat car, along with a steamer from another company, and were transported on a special train to help fight the "Great Baltimore Fire", that caused the damage to the power plant, in the photo Louis uploaded a few days ago.

NG .... The 2-8-2 was a little tempting. So are some other locos out there. However, I have plenty of locomotives already. It is good of you to ask us in the Coffee Shop before others.

Afternoon All,
Had a great time in Gainesville yesterday and got home this morning around 9:15. Spent about 2 1/2 hours today finishing the basic build for the 2 flats. Now I need to start on the additions to make them TrucTrain cars.
Johnny- You have a lot of work ahead of you.
Garry- Great photos both model and real.
Justin- The loco is only occasionally available to buy. It is like hens teeth.
Joe- Great photos. I really enjoyed the Pennsy photo.
I hope everyone has a good night.

Willie, Well, OK, I'll see what I can come up with. But you'd be surprised how many people really do get irritated. I apparently have no appreciation of what sig lines are for.
There's a rock and gem show in Jackson, 30 miles south, and a 200 - table model railroad show in Mt Pleasant, 60? miles north. I don't think I'll make it to either one, I'm that knackered from getting the furniture out of here.
I woke up this morning and then just laid there in bed. I didn't realize how much that furniture had been preying on me. It fills a 5'x10' storage locker, a pretty - good sized space fore a layout.
The folks across the street are having some sort of party. Their house is the same size as ours (1ksf), and it looks like maybe 15 or 20 cars are parked up and down the street. Where are they putting all the people?

Good afternoon.Checking in quickly. Temp is 71 degrees and I have been outdoors enjoying the warmth and sunshine.
Beady - It's a bummer having to move everything, but the sooner you get the floor in the basement done, the closer you may be to being able to start a layout. Head down the street and crash the party.
Have a few things left to clean up that blew in over the winter so it's time to go back outside.

My day came to a horrific end as I have misplaced my putty. How in the world I did that is beyond me. Oh well I guess I know what I'm doing tomorrow. I'm going.to be looking high and low for it. Because if anything I can fill in the one hole from the box removal from the nose today and have a somewhat decent locomotive. Here's hoping I guess.
