Morning all,

68° and clear going for 93°. Got to 91 yesterday.

Happy Birthday, JAY! Hope it is a good one for you.

Flo: I'll have what Bill is having, even the extra bacon.

What can I say about Bob Rivers, I found out about him in the mid 90's when we had a local DJ (when we actually had local DJ's) playing some of his Twisted Christmas tunes. "The 12 Pains of Christmas" is one of my favorites. This is safe for work, and it is time for Christmas in July (5 month tomorrow).

Good morning gang!

72° and cloudy, heading to 85° with afternoon scattered showers. Can you say muggy? Sure ya can!

Work is a little off kilter today. My co-worker/partner in crime/work wife her mom passed yesterday. Last night I found a job posting for my Boss's job. He's only been here 2 months! Strange air about the place today. I'm just gonna keep my head down and help my co-worker the best I can. Too many corporate guys in and out of here lately in my opinion.

Jay, happy birthday! 🎂

Happy birthday and as always great picture of that other mode of transportation

Good morning from a dreary looking morning in Wisconsin. Still under 50% chance of rain anytime between now and 6pm. I tee off again at 2pm so it will be a long morning. Hiawatha Hobbies is less than 30 minutes from here and open at 10. While I really don’t need anything I can still find something to make that trip worthwhile.

Have a great day

Good Morning All. Mostly cloudy and 69°, might hit 92° later today. Not any change in the forecast until middle of next week when it will warm up.

Cardiologist visit yesterday was uneventful, they expect me to live until my next appointment in January. Basically took the day off from outdoor tasks yesterday since I pulled a muscle in my lower back on Sunday. It started feeling better yesterday evening, and today I feel fine. Monday morning wasn't that bad, but I probably should have rested then instead of dragging it out an extra day. Yesterday morning was painful.
But that won't stop me today, although at a reduced pace.
Pool temperature has risen slightly to 83°, a bit more tolerable. I'm sure that it's cooler than that right now but I won't be getting in before 11:00 at the earliest.

I got sidetracked out in the train shed yesterday. After putting the grain elevator back in place I was taking some pictures of it with the cemetery behind it.

I took a closer look at the red barn in the adjoining scene. I noted how dirty the roof was, I took it over to the workbench and cleaned one half.

It appears to be a moisture-related issue, but this structure didn't get wet to my knowledge, after the tornado. Cleaned it up anyway and then turned it over and discovered many of these.

The walls had warped away from the Popsicle stick stiffeners that I had used. So out came the Gorilla Super Glue and the small clamps and I ended up with this. Originally was glued with water-soluble Elmer's.

It's clamped overnight and I'll see how it fared today.

Patrick - The Tomatoes are flowering, but the plants themselves haven't really recovered from the beating by the tornado winds. It's a bummer because the weather right now is conducive to a good recovery.
Ken - That's a failure of your local court system, not the defendant. It is the court clerk's responsibility to notify all parties of changes in dates, venues, etc.
Shortwrench - Thanks for the recent comments.

Today is National Tequila Day. Have a shot for me as I quit distilled spirits 43 years ago.
Everyone have a wonderful Wednesday.
