Good morning Everybody!
I'm moving very slowly this morning. I'm as stiff as an old horse, but not yet ready for the glue factory. I got a bit overzealous in checking things off the to-do list. If I spend too much time on my feet, I pay for it the next day.
My Orioles continue to struggle on the road and dropped another game to the Phillies. The Best starter in the American League in recent weeks the Orioles' Trevor Rodgers (1.44ERA) will try to end my Birds mini-skid this afternoon at 12:35pm eastern time. This is a game to watch if you can. The Phillies will counter with a quality starter of their own, Ranger Suarez (2.68ERA). Who doesn't love a pitcher's duel and day game no less!
The Brewers have the best record in MLB, (69W-44L) after another 5-game winning streak. Not bad for a team with a $122 Million payroll. Which is more than three times less than the Dodgers and lower than twenty-one other teams in MLB.
The Yankees are going in the opposite direction having lost five consecutive games. They now hold the last Wild Card spot in the American League. They won't keep that spot for long if they don't soon turn things around.
The Red Sox are the hottest team in the American League having won seven consecutive games and nine out of their last ten games. So much was said about the Red Sox not making a big splash at the trade deadline. It says something about team chemistry and continuity, but I doubt the media will mention that.

It's time for me to get ready for work. I need a little physical therapy, something Amazon has always been for me. I tend to overdo it when I don't work. But I want to play with my trains!
