You would for a fajita. Which is what he’s making.
I prefer burritos made with ground beef.

Steak is best alone on the plate; fried onions are good with it. Or on a roll, as in a big ol' cheesesteak with lettuce, tomato, fried onions, and Hellmann's extra heavy mayonnaise. American cheese that is, no other will do.

I'm a simple man with simple tastes. I remind everyone that hotdogs are my favorite food.

good morning Mayo friends

about mayonnaise: i take Thomy (but i think thats switzerland) :D
damn you all talking about food. iam sitting in my office at the airport ist almost 10 am and iam hungry ahahahaha.

I'm up.

Wife's mother go in for her cardiac inversion for AFIB today.

Wife has a dental appointment right before, so her sis is picking up mom, and they'll meet at the hospital.

that means I'll be without a car all day. Sounds like a good day to finish the final bit of benchwork for the upper level. Which reminds me that I need to drill a few 3/4" holes for wiring through the joists in the benchwork I have most of them drilled. But, since I was using salvaged sections of the old benchwork, not everything lines up where old sections meet, or new joists were added.

That's about it for today.

I've cut my sugar intake to almost zero in the past year.

Yes, I know sugars and processed foods are bad.

But there are far, far, far, far, far better (and less divisive) spokesmen for the topic than the non-doctor figure above. (anything more I say will get me the Polytics Banhammer).

In other news, to spite the gent above I stopped for an Amish Donut this morning on the way to Menards. I've had my eye on on a table saw, and it had a sale price listed. When stock got down to 1 in the local store, I thought I'd better go get it. Fortunately, I had a rebate certificate to redeem.

Sale price was $30 off, and another $38 in rebate cash made it under $260 after tax.

While the wife is out with her mother, I'll get it set up. Then I can start ripping boards for the fascia.

And, for the record, it barely fit in the trunk of the Camry. Fortunately, my 3 mile drive home was only slightly annoying with the YOUR TRUNK IS OPEN beep-beep-beep-beep-beep-beep-beep-beep-beep-beep-beep-beep... warning going on.

I would have said "stone cold whacko", but you are a better man than me.

My only sugar vice as of now is McDonalds coke. Our McDonalds still has LG fountain drinks for $1.00.
Don't know what it is about their fountain Coke, but some days I will consume two of them.
You are not alone.

McDonald's uses post-mix soda dispensers. This means that the syrup (Coca-Cola syrup in this case) and carbonated water are mixed at the point of dispensing, rather than being pre-mixed in a factory. This process ensures fresher flavor and allows McDonald's to control the syrup-to-water ratio for optimal taste. Also, McDonald's takes extra steps to make their sodas taste better than other fast-food chains. They pre-chill the syrup, store it in stainless steel containers, and filter the water.

One of the countless things I did as a contractor was service soda dispensers. Another skill I picked up working at Memorial Stadium.
