Here's how they fixed an ACL tear in my dog. Tore the first one last June and the canine ortho surgeon said she would eventually tear the other one. She did about 3 months later in October. I joked to the surgeon that dogs have become a luxury item and he said, "it's mainly large dogs." Just our luck.

No Hogger not really. They both complain of pain from the replacement now though.

In some cases it's overworking or overuse. In others, it's excess weight and underuse, and calcium crystals form on the bone and grind away the material. My wife had to have both knees replaced from overuse. 42 years running around on the floor as a nurse.

Hashbrown too. Cup of coffee with double Baily's Irish Cream.
Two Marchino cherries on the side.
Why? So, we can have one each and think about pie later. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

On feeling and being old: Even after heart surgery, I didn't feel old, I actually aced cardiac rehab...It became a competition with other participants.

Only after I started having balance issues, did I even question my immortality. ;) :eek:

Last night while on a teleconference with my family, I saw this old man sitting next to my wife....wonder who he is? I don't recognize him, even while looking in the mirror.

Age is a statement of longevity, Old is a state of mind.
 
I’d like to wish a blessed and Happy Easter to those who celebrate.

As it’s also 4/20, if that’s your thing, be safe and remember “moderation”.

We’re going to my mom’s later today for an Easter dinner. I don’t know what it will be but I expect likely a ham. One of my sisters and her family are coming I think. The other sister and her family up in Evanston I’m not sure of.
 
I went to 11 AM mass today and the church was not as full as it has been in past years. The same with Plam Sunday. Lake Carmel, NY is a very small mostly Christain town, and people wouldn't be moving out for any crime etc. reasons. Maybe the older church going folk are just passing on. I may move because my now girlfriend wants me to but when I went to mass in Mrytle Beach, I counted only about 20 people of the 700 hundred at mass were under 70 years old.
