I think Rory missing that last putt lost it for me. There were 3 other people in the pool with the same 3 golfers in the top ten I had. I know one of them had -13 for the tie breaker I think the other had -10 which would be a tie for me being I had -12. Why couldn't he just hit the green on the last hole?

He missed to add to the drama.

Between being in the train room and watching the grandson in the championship hockey game on a live stream I did watch some of the Masters. Terry said the best she can figure when we last watched was the last time Tiger Woods won. I’ve just lost interest in TV golf. I can’t tell you how many times I wrote golfers off today. Rory’s emotional breakdown after finally winning does tell you how hard golfers try and want to win

Good morning gang!

49° under partly cloudy skies, heading to 69°. Got to call the Doc today and try to get an appointment. Doing the yard yesterday like to have killed me. Had to stop and catch my breath a few times while I was doing the weed whacking, then later climbing the basement steps I got a little light headed. Gotta get it checked out.
too many patrons out smacking little white balls
Chasing the balls
smacking the balls
chasing the balls
Losing the bells
Cursing the balls
Dropping another ball
Repeat above 18 times
Ever seen Robin Williams on golf? Hysterically accurate! I'd post a link but its a little too "raw" for this group. Youtube it!

Yes Karl hackers are a problem on the golf course. They back up the whole course making everyone late for whatever they had planned for the rest of the day. Swal

Good morning Crew. It’s 53f degrees in my part of Wisconsin. Topping out at 56 per the weather app. No rain is scheduled.

The grandson’s hockey team got beat in the championship game by a team from Wisconsin, 1-6. He texted last night that he was happy the team played great except for the last game. Like any other 11 year old, the game is over and he’s moved on…

Should be an interesting day on Wall Street depending on which of the media “experts” you listen to. Terry says unless it crashes this morning she will stay out. If it does she will get in but doubts there will be more than a 500 point drop. She has nothing currently shorted.

Enjoy your day

Good Morning All. Clear and 65°, still with ferocious winds from the South. Supposed to turn from the North around mid-morning and today's temperature will only get to 82°, tomorrow maybe 76°. Yesterday it was 92° instead of the 96° that was forecast. Still warm for April.

Despite not planning on it, I did do some mowing yesterday in the back yard between the house, pool and train shed. It just looked too scraggy in my view. Two loads of laundry and emptying the dishwasher fulfilled my household task obligations for the day. Wife decided that she was cooking yesterday and made chicken enchiladas from a leftover Sam's Club roast chicken. Close to the same thing that I made Saturday night from the same chicken, but I made chicken quesadillas. I used tortillas, chicken, Monterrey Jack cheese, bacon and mushrooms; she used tortillas, chicken, Monterrey Jack cheese, green chilies and a sour cream sauce. I used the griddle and she used the air fryer toaster oven setting. Too warm for the regular oven and I haven't serviced the a/c yet this season.
Still bummed out about the beer fridge out in the train shed. I definitely damaged it when using the screwdriver to chip away some ice. Note the refrigerant that has dripped out, just below the warning label telling me not to do what I did.

No real plans for today since I mowed yesterday. I could start to install the Tomato cages in the garden before the plants start to grow. Green Beans emerged from the soil last week and I'll remove any weeds that might be too close to the seedlings to hoe out. Hopefully I can irrigate before the wind picks back up again.

I did get a little time out in the train shed yesterday. I mounted those three 2D cardstock structure pictures to the backdrop, finally.

Now I need to find the 4th one, which is to the right, and print and replace it.

These all came from the excellent thread that fellow forum member Tomkat posted back in 2012. Background Flats
He posted hundreds.

Patrick - Of all of the steakhouses that we go to, Saltgrass is the best as far as service, good food and great menu. Yes, they are a little pricey. The Range Rattler shrimp/cheese stuffed Jalapeno appetizers are absolutely the best in any place that we have been to. The platter of 8 could actually be a whole lunch by itself for us. They reheat well at home the next day. Also available in platters of 4 or 6.
Marlin - I've had just two direct experiences with relatives in residential care facilities and I agree with your assessment about warehousing people and collecting money. Wife's brother was basically on life support for 18 months after his useful life ended before they pulled the plug when they were told that the money had run out.
Joe - My doc will make things up to get Medicare to pay for preventive health tests. It's always based on real symptoms (sometimes coached) so there is no fraud involved.
Troy - That sums up my view of golf. I would always have been better off if I could trade my golf score for my bowling score; which is why I quit doing both.

Everyone have a great day today. It's Monday which doesn't mean much to me any more, but it does to some.

No fraud...it's all about coding. For example: Blood tests at Hospitals...even satellite locations are usually billed under Part A. If you go to an outpatient lab (Labcorp, Quest, etc), they are billed under part B. Medicare processes Part A through different vendors. Everything is third party processing, even Part C. Part A processors are more likely to deny than Part B Processors. (Bonuses?). Supposed to pay Medical Necessity, but not screening....Vague distinction inserted by Congress at the behest of lobbyists for private insurers....sometimes goes against CDC recommendations, and...ignores changes in Medicare policy, which is revised for each budget year....Sometimes it's a spin of the wheel of fortune whether they pay or not.

Boris I had 3 different basal skin cancer growths removed in the pass 10 years or so. So, when I saw another one coming on, I had my dermatologist take a look during my annual full body checkup. He removed it and sent it out for testing. It came back negative, and I thought that was good but then I got letter from railroad Medicare that they were not paying because it was not cancer. I had to pay the $750.00 charge for the removal. They said it was cosmetic and didn't approve the procedure. I see a lot of operations going on in the country that to me seem to be cosmetic but get paid. I paid it but that's why I use the Fluorouracil cream the doctor gave me to take care of any bumps before they become a problem.

Morning all,

56° and mostly cloudy, high of 66° later.
Don't understand why the dandelions are dying in my yard, Grass is looking great (at least in the from yard) 😁.

I have to make a PEZ dispenser display rack for the youngest granddaughter. I made one for each of the older 3 before she was born. She is starting to collect them as does her sister and cousins. Not hard to make, just didn't have all the materials. So far this is giving me an idea of what retirement will be like and I'm not sure I like it.

Well howdy there internet peeps and those wondering just what would happen if you had a bunch of Easter peeps and a 50 cal?

Now you know.

Just got back from the biannual scraping and probing of the chompers. Good review. The nice thing about hearing aids with bluetooth streaming was I streamed TikiBar music while she worked on me. Which made the piña colada flavored polishing paste fit the mood.

I've got dental anxiety, so music and tiki drinks always help when I'm in that chair.

Now you know.
Actually we don't. The bullet ricocheted off the table part way down. I suspect a proper 50 BMG shot perfectly parallel with the table would go through all the peeps without a second thought. I'm not convinced that the peeps would deflect it enough. I could be wrong of course. Modern armor is made with layers including things like special foams and fibers and stuff to cause deflection so that lower layers don't get hit straight on.

I'd try this if I had the money for the peeps and a place to do it and a camera that could record it... But I am not sure I could get a perfectly parallel shot either.
