Afternoon all,

After nearly 12 years, I replaced several of the old window blinds today. The originals wouldn't come clean any longer and were getting brittle. Inexpensive ones from Walmart. New ones from Walmart also. Under $100 for 5 windows. I did have to change the mounts as the new ones use a different bracket style.

I also did 3 loads of laundry, one being the sheets. Fixed cheese steak for lunch.
 
Good afternoon all!

The mowing and the trimming is done. I also raked a few more of the leaves out from the fence line that got missed last week and
mulched them. There were a few reaming pieces of paper, and plastic bags that appeared from Fridays storm that got collected. Looks
a lot better now.

Mixed up the meatballs for dinner tonight, chopped up the veggies and made bow-tie salad for dinner tonight. The leftover meatballs
will be for meatball subs on Tuesday night since its travel volleyball practice and we need something quick. just have to drizzle the sauce
over them and throw them in the oven at 3:30 along with the baked beans.

With everything accomplished and the wife and daughter watching some singing completion on TV and leaving me alone I think I will head
to the basement and cut some cardboard strips for hill making.

I'm going to fill in on the other side of this ridge that the mainline is running on. I really need to get back to this area now that my nights and
weekends are freeing up considerably with no spring school sports this year.

Had a fun game at the game store earlier. Squeaker of a game. I was ahead, then behind, then pulled out a narrow victory with a daring charge. the final role was a morale test. I needed a six or higher on two dice. Got it! Drove the giant frog-terror-monster off in one combat

Before my StayPuft mega monster took out the frogzilla, it terrorized my berserkers with the proton packs. My guys hit hard, but froggy got the charge in, and did enough damage Berserkers did a Monty Python and RAN AWAY!

Good evening. Quiet weekend, some weeding and gardening completed, more to come. Full card of chores for tomorrow. After three near 90° days, the heat is back. We have a freeze warning tonight. Promised rain wasn't much, but saved me from running the sprinkler where the lawn was reseeded.

Monday, Monday!

A cool start to the week. Currently its a below average 30F with an expected high of around 58F. About 10 degrees
warmer than yesterday. Should be sunny all day with no rain in the forecast. Warm-up starts tomorrow when we
are back in the 70s for a while.

Nothing other than usual household stuff planned for today.

Howdy all from NW Indiana. I slept in 'til 5 this morning. It's 25 degrees outside; but feels like 20. Rule of thumb here is not to plant anything until a week after Mother's day. Working on Barmills Bail Bonds kit. It looks like Bar Mills is bringing back Nemcheks' Salvage yard. Anyone ever built that kit...thoughts on it?
 


Morning all,

44° and clear. Going for a high of 77° later. Kind of an eerie glow this morning coming from the east. Sun just high enough before 6, that there was a little glow coming through the back windows of the truck as I was headed westbound towards the office. Sun coming up earlier every day!

Not a lot going on yet.
