Nuggets host the Timberwolves this afternoon. I'm hoping for a smackdown, but the Nuggets are a hard team to follow. They are almost always are outscored in the first quarter, even at home. Slow to get rolling.

So am I without my coffee. 😆

Well howdy there internet peeps and those wondering if the ships are moving or not moving or moving or not moving...

It's Troy again. No cruises scheduled, fortunately.

Mild Storms have been rolling through. so the cat has to be on me, or touching me.

the paw is on my leg. Sneaky little git.

So I showed him the Radar:

with the purple arrow pointing right to where his Fuzzbutt is located.

Unfortunately, the storms are on a NE track, so we'll get another wave in a couple of hours. I made sure to sprinkle the calming powder on his food today. He'll need it.

Not sure what today will bring. I've got one more creature to paint up for my Stay Puft army, so I may do that. My hobby desk is located right under the breaker panel. so I'll have to clear it off and move it before the electrician shows up on Tuesday.

Otherwise, we'll probably head out to lunch somewhere once the storms are mostly passed.

Yeah, I forget the name of the actor, but his character was named Garth.
The 60's were a long time ago...
The gals would probably drape themselves all over me for saying this...but it isn't for them, or for that purpose. It's because we love them and remember them for the beauties they were. And still are for many of us. Certainly for me, and even though I have a "neck wattle."

And for many of you too. God luv 'em

Good morning gang!

62° and sunny, heading to the mid 70s today! Sitting here in the office getting ready to open the shop. On duty til 2 then the mower will be beckoning. I'm sure when that is over a trip to TSC and HD will be on the schedule.

Tomorrow they will be calling for monsoon rains, so I'm looking forward to Sunday funday in the basement!

For now, another cup of coffee,

BBL

Nichelle Nichols, Sabrina Scharf (Miramanee Star Trek The Paradise Syndrome).
Come on you guys! Barbara Eden! Also Grace Lee Whitney. Big fans of all the others mentioned as well. Julie Newmar is the only Cat Woman, though I have to say Ann Hathaway got awfully close. Funny story. I liked posts about Newmar, Eden, and Carter on social media, and the algorithm turned my feed into a cascade of pinups and "Influencers" (scantily clad young women shaking their cakes). There's no need for strip clubs anymore! 🤣 What a joke.

Morning All! The rain has finally stopped and it looks like we'll have a few dry days. Had to switch the day around, as the lawn was too wet to cut in the morning. I did get all the branches the previous storm knocked out of the trees picked up.

Tom Solly's is still there and still great! I only get the smallest burger there and don't bother with cheese. There's enough butter on that thing to put your cholesterol through the roof! I made up for no cheese on the burger by ordering their fried cheese curds. Those things should be illegal, or at least stiffly regulated! 😁 Some highway department guys came in to eat while we were there. You should have seen the monsters they ordered! There was something that looked like what the Big Mac tries and fails to be. I couldn't get my mouth open wide enough to eat that, but they managed. Ended up cutting the grass, and finished about an hour before more rain came through. Skipped dinner. No need! No trains yesterday. Hopefully today I'll get back to the passenger cars!

Good morning from very wet So. Central Wisconsin. Tried to go to dinner out last night in a last minute decision. The 2 exits in the subdivision were both under water! So we went back to the house and had a homemade pizza. I knew about the pond to the southeast of the house but not the pond across from the west side entrance. There is underground parking in the apartments near the southeast entrance and the ramp going down was full of water

High today will be 32 degrees less than the 76f degrees yesterday. We have a 1% chance of snow! How we’d we get snow with 40 degrees escapes me!

Our local ABC tv station weather guy was on straight through dinner last night. He was telling Terry about possible tornados, hail and heavy rains he was tracking. Oh yeah, every few minutes he was telling some neighborhood or town to find their “safe space”. Our area for the 4th day in a row got clobbered with rain. The winds last evening though had me a bit worried! The gusts were in the 60’s. Right now it’s the calm before the next storm sweeps through on Sunday night. It was frustrating for me yesterday afternoon that the WeatherChannel app’s radar was not working for a few hours. I generally don’t believe our local weather tv folks even though one is a neighbor and after 1.5 years on TV she is getting better looking by the day. They hired her as an on air intern her 1st 8 months as she finished college. Cheap TV station. She walks with her roommate around 2pm and will say hi in the Summer when I’m out on the porch. She grew up in the neighborhood and has moved into the apartments down the street. She has a great presence while on air and I except she’ll move on soon to a bigger gig. But her station is so often wrong for our area.

After dinner Terry spent time down in my cave watching her TV shows and listening via her Bluetooth hearing aides. I was asked to lower the tunes while I was at my modeling bench though. She hears the music as a background noise and I was playing the tunes at a hefty volume anyway.

I did decide last night not to drive the 4.5 hours to my former assistant’s hubby’s funeral today. Terry asked if I was sure when I told her and there was a sigh of relief from her. But not sure if the water at the subdivision exits is cleared and would have allowed me to drive out at 4:30 this morning if I had wanted to go. The decision though I made before we found we we stuck anyway

Not exactly sure what I want to do today. I do know the grass badly needs to be cut but it will take days to dry enough to cut but the rain is coming back. So that’s out. I have quite a few things to weather so that’s probably is mostly what I will do.

I spent way too many hours in the train room yesterday after we got home from the over night trip to Racine. It was maybe 3.5 hours yesterday before I realized my Ipod had Procol Harum on repeat. 20 songs played 3 times each before I switched artists. I switched to an old playlist I had while still working called “office play list” 500 songs on the list. My iPod will play my lists or all the songs of 1 artist. The any song is next feature has been out of commission for a few years

Trip to Vegas next week is cancelled. The brother called yesterday he has a Heart flutter issue being corrected Monday and will not be able to host any guests or the golf. Just a shock treatment but was told no extensive exercise (golf?) and that he will be feeling worn out as the too fast heart rhythms correct after the shock. He said he doesn’t need help the g/f can handle this. But I do have a list of flights from Madison, Milwaukee or Chicago O’Hara if I’m needed.

Be well and enjoy the day

Morning folks from the Nor'east and especially those of us that don't have farcebook. 50s today all day with only a 15% chance of rain. The area we had hydroseeded just before winter as an erosion control has actually started growing. The permanent hydroseed goes down in mid May.

Lynda Carter is tops on my list.

Good morning all!

Last night was a wild weather ride! The dog was spot on in her prediction as usual. We ended up heading to the basement with sirens
blaring on 3 occasions. We had several rounds of thunderstorms roll thru. Luckily nothing really too bad in town here, but a couple of
places to the North and south got hit really bad.

The rest of this system should push out of here later this morning. The rain has all moved east but there is windy conditions. The sun
should peek out later this morning but it will be a cool day. Currently the temps have fallen into the 30s and the high is only expected
to reach 47F. A stark contrast from our high yesterday of 83F.

Today is weekly grocery day and I will see if the lawn dries out enough to bale.

Time to hit the coffee and enjoy some quiet before everyone else gets up.

Have a safe day everyone!

I know, right? You are merchandise there and nobody is in charge. I would (excuse the expression) shitcan the whole business, but there are about a dozen people, mostly childhood and high school friends that I like to stay in touch with, but don't have enough to say to justify a phone call. Some are women, which would be weird, so the quick "How's life treating you?" post works well, and for me justifies its continued existence.

Terry told me when I mentioned Solly’s on the drive home that her 1st college boyfriend took her there often. She also was surprised it is still going. With us being home now for the next few weeks we may get over there quicker. We need a Kopp’s fix too

I have had no real issues on Facebook and have not for years. I used it mainly for selling my weathering or buying and selling equipment. I have not hit like on anything in probably 10 years and delete and block any feed that is political

My Facebook page for my Wisconsin Interstate is a financial, religious and political free zone. Violate that and I delete you! I’m at 1900+ followers

Good morning folks. It's a wet one out there at 46°F. All of the the heavy storms passed us by last night, and by the time it arrived here is was just constant moderate rain. It has just cleared the county line and it's going to remain pretty cool today, but nearly seasonal at 56°F for a high. Better tomorrow and continuing the rest of the new week.

Nothing on my plate here today since it's so wet outside. Have a great weekend!

Servus!
