Well definitely not the best quality video out there but here’s a few vids for the coal train fans.

Two Rivarossi U28C's at the point of a drag of Walthers Bethgons on the previous layout:

A couple of Kato SD70MAC's with a Proto SD60 testing the grade with a string of Walthers Bethlehem 100 ton hoppers, again the previous layout:

And finally “my” old GE35 tonner pulling a cut of BN cars loaded with Powder River sub bituminous into the “shaker house” back in ‘93:

I have a piece of coal that came off of a BNSF train, I planing on finding more to make coal loads and use them on BN and BNSF trains. I feel like it would be cool to have a BNSF train with BNSF coal

Nope, cardboard tube. Holds enough coal to load 35 cars.

Lots and lots and lots of tweaking and a little dumb luck!
I’ve since installed Railpro into the Kato’s so now they run with a third Kato, BNSF AC4400 I think.

The train on the left is thirty nine cars long plus three U28c's and a caboose, the one to the right is twenty four cars long with two SD70mac's and a caboose.
Eighteen to twenty four cars is about the norm.

Usually the local crews use it as a shoving platform but I’ve seen it as far away as Longhurst (far side of the layout) on a ballast train.
I caught 11474 the other day here on the interchange track picking up a loaded center beam, it was a nice sunny day to railfan.

I have the CSX and Chessie, they do roll great.
