Yep, that keeps you engaged and acting more as an engineer. The econami doesn't have that ability as the brakes function is only sound.
Yes. The only automatic features are the prime mover starting and stopping sequences.
Interesting too, after the motor is quiet, there are, once in awhile, some short noises like a slamming cab door and so on. It lasts for quite a long time. I still have to check if it lasts as long as the power is on.

Continued to detail the Glacier Express. Changed to color of the carpet to better match the pictures I found online. Funny enough, the color ended up being German Gray from Tamiya.

The kitchen/bar car got kitchen details and a silver background. Found some images, duplicated and shrunk them to size.

Yeah, you can set functions to come on when running fwd, running rev, sitting fwd or sitting rev. I made the mistake of setting the lights in one of these modes and found that I couldn't turn it off at all until I removed it from the setting.

Am running my Glacier Express right now and one thing I noticed, is that since it runs on the floor, I really can't get a good vantage point of the kitchen. I'll need to add some counter stuff, like a sink and a range top or something. I guess something else to do.
